Starry Night

"Hey Angel, I have a surprise for you." Natsu says while trying his hardest not to smile.

"You do?" I ask curiously while trying not to smile myself but I'm failing horribly. "What is it?" I ask more excitedly than I'd like which just made him finally smile a big smile.

"If I told you it wouldn't be a surprise." He says rather happily.

"Then why tell me it's a surprise?" I grumble and pout a bit.

"Because I wanted to get you excited and bug you." He laughs and ruffles my hair before getting up and heading into the kitchen.

"You're so mean!" I shout in a whiny voice which only made him laugh more.

"You're so much fun Angel." He chuckles while getting a glass of water.

Time skip
It's nighttime now and I'm bursting with anticipation and excitement.  I'm obviously excited and it's greatly amusing Natsu. He hasn't stopped smiling ever since he told me about the surprise but he hasn't dropped any hints about it much to my dislike.

"Natsu when do I get the surprise?!" I whine at him as I tug on his scarf like a little kid which just made him bust up laughing at me.

"Soon Angel. Soon." He smiles before standing up and heading to the front door. "Come on." He motions for me to come so I jump up and rush him making him laugh loudly.

"Oh shut up pinky." I pout while he wipes tears that are forming in his eyes from laughing.

"Come on Angel before I decide to change my mind just to annoy you." He laughs while opening the door. I turn and look at him with shock and horror which made him laugh again.

"You wouldn't."

"I would." He smiles and winks at me before taking my hand and leading me away from the dorms.

I hold his hand tightly as we slowly walk the campus. It's the middle of the night so all the lights are off and everything is quiet. I look around and take in all the sights and sounds of the school in the middle of the night since I'm usually wrapped up in bed with Natsu about this time I never got to explore the school at night.

"Where are we going?" I ask Natsu. He doesn't reply but he does smile and continues walking while holding my hand. "Natsu..."

"Relax Angel and trust me. I know what I'm doing." He smiles before he quickly gets behind me and covers my eyes.

"Hey!" I shout causing him to quickly cover my mouth.

"Sssshhhh...." He hushes me in a soft and calm voice that just instantly relaxed me. "You relax quick." He teases. "Walk and trust me Angel. I won't let you bump into anything I promise." He says as he removes his hand from my mouth

"I trust you Natsu." I whisper as I allow him to lead me around.

I don't know where he's leading me but he's my boyfriend and I love and trust him more than anything. We walk for a few minutes before I feel him move from behind me and reach in front of me. I hear a door creak open as he gently pushes me forward. We walk for another minute before he repeats his actions and opens another door and ushers me in.

He finally has me stop and whispers in my ear "Keep your eyes closed ok? I'm moving my hands." I nod in reply and feel him move his hands off of my eyes and slides them down my body and wraps them around my waist. He presses his chest against my back and rests his head on my shoulder. My eyes are still closed and I don't really care anymore where we are because I'm in complete bliss like this. "Open your eyes now Angel." He says softly in my ear.
