Dad-napped!

You opened up your suitcase and got to work packing up all of your belongings, one by one you tossed each item into the baggage. Heck, you didn't even bother to fold your own clothes as you just stuffed them into the luggage carelessly. As you grabbed one of your tops something fell out of the pocket, a picture. You held up the photo selfie of you and your boyfriend, which was taken in front of Eggman's lair. Sonic has one of his arm wrapped around your shoulder while the other is holding the camera, as the two of you smiled, Eggman can be seen in the background shaking his fist in anger at the both you.

"I'm gonna miss you Sonic." You said as you take one last look at the picture before putting it into your bag. You sat on the bed for a few minutes in silence when suddenly your communicator went off. The sudden noise startled you so much that you fell onto the floor!

You grumbled as you brought your wrist communicator to your face. "Yes?!" You answered, with slight irritation in your voice. "Hey (Y/n), you up for another race around the island?" It was Sonic. You nearly jumped at the sound of his voice. "Oh no! Not now!" You whisper-yelled as you slapped your forehead. You were so busy with packing and cleaning up the temple that you completely forgot to tell Sonic and the gang that you and (S/n) were leaving. A few seconds pass as you quickly think of a response.

"Hello? Earth to (Y/n), are you home?" Sonic asked impatiently, when he heard no reply he became worried. "Hey (Y/n), are you alright?" He asked, this time with concern.

"Huh?...Uhh...yeah I'm fine..." You lied, "Hey listen, I'll talk to you later...I'm kinda busy right now. Bye!" You ended the call on your communicator before Sonic had a chance to respond. You slumped backwards onto the bed feeling terrible for not telling him the truth. He is your boyfriend after all and he deserves to know, but you just couldn't bring yourself to say goodbye to him and your new friends, not to mention that both you and (S/n) just lost your powers. Grabbing a pillow, you stuffed it over your face and groaned.

"Hey (Y/n)!" Your sister called, poking her head in through the open door. "What?!" You growled, removing the pillow from your face. (S/n) wasn't fazed by your harsh tone as she entered the room with a smile on her face. "Do you think we can have one last double date with our boyfriends?" She asked sweetly. You blinked at her request, you couldn't tell if she was joking or being serious. "What do YOU think the answer to that question is?!" You said, staring at her with a deadpanned expression. (S/n) hummed and looked up in thought for a moment before shouting out a loud..."YES!"

Your expression changed from blank to annoyed, however you decided it's not worth the energy to chase your sister, seeing how she's much faster than you anyway. You pulled the pillow back down to your face and groaned.

Meanwhile, your Dad had just arrived on the island. Between the bustling traffic and other shenanigans that slowed him down he finally made it in one piece. He parked the car at the exact same spot the last time he was there, right in front of the mayors statue. He rubbed his tired eyes and stretched out his back as he exited the vehicle. He covered his mouth as he let out a yawn. "I'll just...take a quick nap at the temple." He said to himself tiredly. A few feet away from the car he reached into his pocket and pulled out his keys, pressing the button he automatically locked all the doors.

Just then, several tiny rockets were launched and fired, all aiming at the car. This caused the vehicle to explode, flying 12 feet in air before crashing back down in a fiery mess. The sudden noise caused your Dad's eyes to snap open as he spun around to look at his now damaged vehicle.

"My car!" He screamed as he looked at the horrible sight. "No! No! No! No! Nooooo!" He cried as he fell to the ground in despair. Suddenly, a maniacal laughter filled the air as Eggman appeared on his flying egg mobile. "Ha Ha! I obliterated your car!" He taunted in childlike manner.

Your Dad looked up at the villain in utter confusion, wondering how anyone could find this situation amusing. He stood up and scowled at Eggman, clenching his fist as well as his teeth. "I don't know who you are or who you think you are..." He said coldly. "...but you better have insurance to pay for the damages to my CAR!" He screamed. The veins on the side of his neck were now visible, his eyes are now bloodshot from sleep deprivation and anger. Anymore stress and your Dad will have a massive heart attack!

Eggman scoffed. "What?! You expect ME to pay for that piece of junk?" He pulled out what looks to be a hand laser and aimed for your Dad's head. "Well, now I have to destroy you!"

Your Dad froze as he watched Eggman slowly pull on the trigger, he closed his eyes and waited for his demise when suddenly, a blue blur jumped in front of Eggman's floating vehicle.

"What the what?!" Eggman shouted as he looked around for whatever or whoever jumped in front of him. He then shrugged his shoulders, deciding that whoever or whatever the thing was was probably gone by now. "Oh well, where were we? Oh yeah, I was gonna blast you to oblivion!" He then pointed his hand at your Dad as if he was still holding the gun, but nothing was there.

"Where the heck did I put that blasted thing?!" He growled as he frantically searched for other weapons in his egg mobile.

"Yo Egghead! Looking for this?!"

Eggman scowled at the sound of his nemesis's voice. There he was, Sonic holding his laser gun with the smuggest grin, along his rodents friends. Curiously, the human mutants aren't with them, Eggman noted.

"Oh forget this!" Eggman threw his hands up in frustration. "Change of plans!" He then pressed a button on his egg mobile, causing a spring trap net to emerge from his vehicle. Once it grabbed your Dad Eggman flew off to his evil lair.

"Eggman's getting away with (Y/n) and (S/n)'s Dad!" Knuckles exclaimed. Sonic pressed a button on his communicator, it rang couple of times before finally reaching you.

"Sonic...I...I already told you I'm really busy ri-" You stuttered before being interrupted by Sonic.

"(Y/n), it's an emergency! Eggman's got your Dad! Come on!"

There was a short pause.

"O..okay..." You replied. As soon as Sonic hung up you turned to your sister. "Eggman's got Dad! We gotta help him!"
