The sun rose the next day I saw Halfleg sorting herbs. She must of noticed me because came over and licked my head.
"Barkstar will call a clan meeting soon, but until then stay in the medicine den" she said.
What felt like ages passed and then I heard the leader announcing a meeting. Halfleg pushed me out the den and next to the big rock the leader was standing on. I kept my head down hoping not to be noticed.
"Clan mates we have a new apprentice in Shadow clan, and you will accept her as your own clan mate" the leader began. "Her name is Darkpaw" I felt everyones gaze fall upon me. "You may notice Nightpaw is no longer in Shadow. But the medicine cats received a prophe-"
"Wait Nightpaw is in Thunder clan! I wish to be with her" A cat demanded. I looked closely at this cat. He was Nightpaws brother, Patchpaw.
"Do not interrupt me Patchpaw!" Barkstar exclaimed in a strong voice "but if you wish to follow your sister and become a Thunderclan apprentice you may. Emberheart was your mentor so she shall now be DarkStorm". I walk slowly over to Emberheart. She gives me a soft smile but the others aren't impressed.
