Chapter 5

*still the same day*

+Carter's POV+

I see that Skylar is looking around for Frank. I look over to see that Cassidy, Paige, and Nicole weren't at the table each other. Hmm....Wonder where they went.

•Alice's POV•

As I walk out of Spencer's, bag in hand, I see a familiar face and someone else. I've seen her in the mall before. Her name started with a C, but I forgot what it was. We've talked a few times but it's been a few months.

As I walk up to her, she turns around and so does her friend. It's as it she expected someone behind her. Then again, I was wearing heels so they would've made a sound. By the look on her face, I know she recognizes me. I mean, who else here has bubble gum pink hair? Probably a few people but she knows I like Spencer's and I wear my hair down. Her friend, on the other hand, looked like she didn't recognize me and couldn't care less. She gives a dirty look and I just ignore her in return. But not long after I tagged along with Carter and this girl, I feel coffee on my shirt. Oh god, whoever did that didn't know who they were messing with. But before I can get real pissed off, I'm cut off.

+Carter Jackson-First Person+

Before Alice has to time to flip out, I cut her off, and in the calmest voice I can speak in (which is not very calm) "Stop arguing! I don't want to choose between both of you! Alice, I will get you a new shirt. Skylar, just ignore her if you don't like her."

Because of my tone, both girls look very timid. I apologize, but immediately, after Skylar went back to her cold stare at Alice.

Suddenly, I see brown curls, blonde hair, and auburn curls. One of the girls had red bangs, another had blue eyes and the last was 5'3. Paige, Cassidy and Nic were in the mall, Hot Topic being in their view. The girls walk in, not looking in our direction. Rude. I run towards them, the other girls falling in suit. But Skylar rushes past me and I'm curious as to where she went.

~Saria Urie-First Person~

I was walking alongside my best friend, down the huge halls of our local mall, when I spotted something odd in Hot Topic.

Is that Skylar?

I rushed into the dark store, him trailing behind me.

Skylar was crying.

"Sky?" I asked.

She immediately ran to me and wrapped her fragile arms around me.

"What's wrong?" I asked rubbing her spiny back.

"I-I spilt coffee on A-Alice and now, t-this, girl that I-I met is really mad," She cried into my shoulder.

"It's okay Sky," I whispered hugging her tightly.

"I'm not supposed to be here with him, his wife is pissed," I laughed as the pale man next to me giggled.

She let out a sigh and a small giggle.

"I met someone really nice," Sky said pulling me over to the girl.

"Sari, this is Carter," She said and I waved at the beautiful girl.

"She saved me from throwing up blood," She said.

"Sky, you know I hate it when you think your fat, I'm nine times fatter then you," I said poking her inward stomach.

"You're not fat!" She argued.

"I really am," I laughed.

"Nope."

"Yup."

"Shut up, you're both skinny," My best friend stated, crossing his arms. He was wearing a disguise so only Sky and I knew who it was.

I shrugged, making the green eyed man laugh adorably the way he always does.

+Carter Jackson-First Person+

As I was talking with Saria, Skylar and this familiar looking guy, I look over my shoulder to see if Cassidy, Faith, and Nic were still there. Sure enough, it looked like they were deep in conversation with Alice. But as I turn around, the guy who was with took off his disguise. I gasp, shocked that Saria and Skylar knew him.
