☆The New Life☆

*Days later*
STEFANI P.O.V.

It was a warm afternoon as I was enjoying my Chick-fil-a. In the middle of my meal, I got a phone call from the diner. My eyes widened. I answer the phone and I hear the managers voice through the speaker.
 
"Stefani I need you to come to the diner." He says.
 
"I'm on my way." I reply.
 
"See you there~" he said before he hung up the phone. I put my food away and I drive to the diner. As I was driving, and I was thinking:
 
'He could've just rejected me over the phone.'
 
'Damn this ain't it. I'm not gonna get the job.'

As I park in front of the restaurant, I take deep breaths.
 
"Okay." I say as I walk into the restaurant. The first person I see is the manager who has a smile on his face which calmed me down.
 
"Good afternoon sir." I greet.
 
"Hello Stefani." He greets back as he hands me a uniform with a silver nametag engraved 'Stefani D.' My eyes widened with shock and I form a big smile on my face.
 
"You start on Thursday." He says proud. He states with his hand out for me to shake it, but I just give him a hug.
 
"Thank you!" I exclaim as he hugs me back.
 
"Welcome aboard." He tells me as I am about to start a new journey in my life.
