Chapter 26

Neymar’s POV

-9 months later- (the day she is gonna deliver the baby)

9 months its hell for Amanda. Vomiting every morning, cravings for sweets but she can’t eat them because her doctor said that she has diabetes and it will be dangerous for her and baby if she eats junks, so she eats healthy. The foods she eats are salads, whole wheat bread, pasta, vegetable, fruits, juices and ofcourse water. She is not allowed to eat foods that has a lot of calories.

I feel really bad she is in pain every single day and most of the time she is left home with Mel. Im not always home because we have to travel here and there for the matches.

This month, which is September is Amanda’s due month, and anytime her water can break, so the new manager gave me a month leave to be with Amanda.

Amanda’s POV

I woke up with a sharp pain in my stomach. I got up from our bed and tried walking downstairs to reach the kitchen. My bump is big, I cant see my toes whenever I look down. I reached the kitchen and Neymar walked in kissing me on the cheeks.

I thank God that he is here with me for a month, especially the pain I get everyday, it gets worse. He’s barely home and sometimes I get a little too emotional with Mel about it. I mean, im freaking pregnant and where the hell is the father of this child? Travelling all over Europe for his football matches. I understand its his job and he has to do that because its his dream but I don’t know. I just need him with me.

“how’s Natasha?” Neymar asked and sitting on the chair next to the counter.

“she’s good, just giving me a hard time” I whispered and staring at Neymar

He came up to me and rubbed my belly, “baby Nat, please be a good girl, don’t give mommy a hard time” he stopped rubbing and kissed it

He is so adorable.

Neymar helped me to the couch and we sat there to watch My Sister’s Keeper.

Halfway of the movie I started feeling the pain again. I walked to the bathroom and I I heard a pop and then water keeps on coming out and I cant control it. SHIT

“NEYMAR!!!!!!” I screamed from the bathroom near the kitchen, hoping he could hear it.

Neymar’s POV

“NEYMAR!!!!!!” Amanda screamed. I stood up from the couch and rushed to where the scream is coming from.

I opened the door of the bathroom and I saw Amanda standing there and holding her bump.

“baby…out..” she whispered pausing to every word she says. Then it hit me! The baby is coming out!

I carried her to my car not bothering to wake Mel up. I can just call her when Amanda is in the delivery room.

I rushed inside of the hospital as soon as we got there. I carried her to the emergency room and told the nurse that Amanda is ready for delivery. She called a group of nurse and she was carried to the maternity room. I rubbed my hands together and called Mel.

Neymar- hello Mel.

Mel- hey, where are you both?

Neymar- we are here in the hospital. Her water broke.

Mel- alright im coming.

Neymar- okay bye

Mel- bye

Im really scared right now. I wonder what is happening to her.

Amanda’s POV

I was rushed to the maternity room and they laid me in bed. My doctor came and said “so Amanda, you have to wait here for the contraction, I will be right back”.

After 3 mins or whatever she came back and she told me to open my leg to check the how far the baby is down in the pelvis, I think its measured by the relationship of the fetal head to the ischial spines(sit bones). She said something to the nurse and they carried my bed to the place where im gonna give birth.

“okay, this is gonna hurt a lot but you can do this. On the count of 3, scream and push. Is that clear?” she demanded and I nodded

“1..2..3..push!” she said

“AHH!!” I yelped

“push! C’mon Amanda!! Push!!” she yelled to make me push.

I screamed and pushed multiple times and the doctor said “Amanda! Push more!!! I can see the head!”

I did as she said and I heard a baby crying and I relaxed. I breathed heavily and ducked my head to see my baby Natasha.

“rest now Amanda. We will bring the baby to you in your room.” She told me and I fell asleep.
