I might be tiny but I can eat a ton

When we walked into the diner my mouth watered at the amazing smell.

I cute old lady with short red hair came up to us " hello alpha table for two?" chase smiled " yes ma'am" she walked us to a booth in the corner. When we got there the lady whispered something in chases ear in which he nodded and she grinned. Okay weird.

" what can I get y'all to drink?" the old waitress asked with a big smile chase looked at me waiting for me to answer what I wanted " um I'll have a water" I said "nonsense it's my treat hope get whatever you want!" he said with a smile and a... Loving look in his eyes? No I'm most likely wrong...but I'm. Always right maybe he's just hard to read.

" haha okay I'll have a chocolate shake large, to eat I want a burger with everything except mayo and onions add extra bacon and I want a lot of fries and some onion-rings! And I will be paying for myself chase"

They both looked wide eyed at me "what I might be tiny but I can eat a ton!" and we all broke out in fits of laughter. " I'll have the same" chase said still slightly laughing.

When we got our food we both ate silently until chase spoke.

" so hope how old are you?" I finished chewing before I spoke "I'm 19 what about you?" chase's face looked young but he still had a look of stress " I'm the big 21. What type of work do you do or do you still go to school?"

" I attended college for about 7 months but I was somewhat forced to drop out. As for work... Well let's not talk about work" he laughed "haha what are you a secret drug dealer or something?"

I started to chock on my food. Shit shit shit how did he know?!? He ran to my side and started to bound on my back to help me breath again " chil hope it was just a joke. Are you okay?" he asked panicked
