Childhood

~Flashback~
~You and your best friend Valt had just started school at lunch you played tag outside as you were it you had to catch Valt he sped away from you and you ran after him as fast as your legs could take you almost caught him when you crashed into another kid as you opened your eyes you met a pair of blood red eyes as you and the mysterious kid locked eyes as you stood up and dusted yourself off you looked at the boy he had white hair with those eyes with a sweater vest over a white shirt with brown shoes you helped him up and said "Hi I'm [Y|N] Aoi what's your name?" As the boy straightened his hair and said "My name is Shu Kurenai nice to meet you" as your whole tag game ran out of your head then you felt a tap on your shoulder as you turned around you seen Valt he asked "Uh hello forget about our game? And who's this." Valt said as he looked at the well dressed boy standing behind you "Valt this is Shu Kurenai he's my new friend!" As Shu blushed lightly as Valt asked Shu to join the game Valt was it you and Shu tooled off from Valt as you both ran you laughed~
~End of Flashback~
It was the day the day Shu faced both of your biggest rival Lui he had beat both you and Shu as you were walking with Valt to the arena as Valt was going on and on about how excited he was you weren't listening you were focused on the whole Lui part of today you believed in your best friend Shu and you knew he would be able to beat him now
~Time Skip~
As you and Valt were cheering on Shu then it happened Spryzen broke as you made the biggest gasp that you have ever made that's when Shu let out a said cry as he left the arena you got up and followed Shu as he watched the sun set as he looked at his once beautiful bey now broken as he said "Spryzen I'm sorry I failed" as tears streamed down his face you went over to him and you sat by him you said "Shu..." He didn't give an answer as you grabbed his face and wiped the tears from his face his eyes were puffy and red as you looked him in the eyes "Shu your my best friend and I don't want you to blame your self OK?" As he nodded as you seen Valt walking towards the two of you he looked at Shu then you as Shu got up and he walked away you could tell he was angry and sad at the same time you knew you should let him be alone
(Shu's POV)
As I walked home and I opened the door and when I closed the door I leaned on it and slid down onto the floor as I started to cry I said "I let down [Y|N] and Valt" in between sobs as I finally stopped crying and I looked at the time it was almost 8:00 I was crying for almost 3 hours as I just went to bed
~the next day~
(Shu's POV)
As I woke up I got ready for school as I looked at my eyes so puffy and red I had bags under my eyes as I found concealer that belonged to my mom they were always on business trips for months on end I hardly ever saw them as I finished and headed to school as I saw [Y|N] she came up to me and asked how I was doing I lied to her and said I was fine she noticed the lied and pretended she didn't notice as I went to my classes when I got out and went up to the roof to see the boy club as I seen Valt and the others they all gave me there remarks as to my loss the day before as I just watched as [Y|N] relaxed on the bench I wanted to tell her how I felt but I couldn't she wouldn't understand what I go through.....
