Narrator's POV
"So it's Nagi san!" Kajika happily shouted and no longer felt fear towards the girl. Nagi on the other hand was taken back at Kajika's sudden enthusiasm. "Well, I'll get something for you to eat and don't move from that spot." Nagi pointed at her and went off to another room. Using that time Kajika scanned the room she was sleeping at. It was a simple room made out of wood and had no decoration except for the sketchbook that was open to the page with a beautiful sketch of a lake. She was very intrigued by the sketch and wondered who drew it since in those days it was really rare for someone to have the time and talent to draw such beautiful sketch. Kajika was so engrossed in it, she didn't realise Nagi had come back from the other room with food on a tray in her hands. While Nagi slowly crouched down, she commented, "Don't stare at that sketch too much. It's not that good of a sketch since I'm the one who drew it." Kajika was so surprised at both the fact that she came here and the fact that she drew the sketch, she was speechless and was frozen with a surprised expression. "Is it that surprising?" Nagi asked with a tone that was slightly hurt and offended. "No, it's just that the sketch is so beautiful." Kajika commented which made Nagi slightly happy. "Well, thanks for the compliment." Nagi said and gave Kajika the tray with food. Kajika started eating the food and was talking about the sketch the whole time until she finished eating.

Kajika's POV
I can't believe Nagi is so good at sketching! I should ask her to draw everyone when I have the chance. "Now that I think about it, how long has it been since I have fainted?" I asked Nagi desperately. She calmly answered, "It's only been a day since you fainted." A day!? I thought. I mean it is a short amount of time I have passed out considering the fact that I was been chased by kabane. "Actually where are we?" I asked Nagi while hoping that we are in some sort of safe place. Nagi took the tray off my hands while slowly rising and said, "If you think this is inside of a protective wall then you're wrong." The way she said that was too confusing for me to understand and I bet she knew that. After seeing my confused expression she told me to follow and I followed her towards the door that connects to outside after we went through a kitchen where she placed the tray for washing. She opened the door for me and it was very clear for me that the house where we were was not inside a wall. She looked at me and asked or more like stated, "Did you think we will be inside a wall when you fell halfway through the trip on the train?" It was obvious but I didn't want to believe that we were in a dangerous place. While having a pale face, I asked her, "Are we safe?" She said in a softer and gentle tone, "We are at least safe for now." I think she was trying to ease my fear and anxiety. But how was I supposed to meet up with Mumei chan and Ikoma and everyone else. After Nagi gently guided me back inside the room she told me, "What are you going to do now?"
