T'challa had been captured, and soon, his identity would be known to the world. As he sits in the caged van with Captain America and The Falcon, he regrets his decisions to go after a villain in such a public place.
"Y/N, your girlfriend, she knew?" The Cap questioned, trying to get the king to feel any sort of guilt for his actions.
"No." T'challa muttered and looked shamefully at the floor.
"Well she sure as hell will now." Sam Wilson chuckled. "She'll be the first they question. How stupid to put someone at risk like that."
"You have no idea." T'challa muttered quietly. He knew what he'd done, he knew you'd pay the price, and he wasn't willing to let your horror flash through his mind quite yet.
"She'll look at you differently."
