I walked in the schools hallway before knocking on the door of the principals office. Why was I here? Because I brutally talked back to my English teacher, she was being a pain in my ass.
Principal:You know why you are here.
Me:Yupe.
Principal:Zoe, please.
I forgot to say, the principal is my aunt.
Me:She was being a total pain in my ass.
Principal:Your teacher, is the best English teacher in the USA.
Me:I don't care.
Principal:Thats why you publicly called her a slut and a bitch?
Me:Not my problem. She deserved it.
I said crossing my arms on my chest and putting on my resting bitch face.
Principal:I'm suspending you. For one week.
Me:Okay.
I grabbed my bag, before getting out of her office. I texted Adi telling him I'm suspended before starting to walk home. Half way threw, I heard barking behind me. I saw a cute dog, just standing in front of me. I went next to him or her, before patting it's head.
Me:Hey buddy. Are you lost?
???:Jack, I finally found you.
I look up and saw a guy standing in front of me out of breath, probably from running.
Me:So your name is Jack, huh?
The guy came next to me and introduced himself.
??:Hey, I'm Ethan.
Me:Nice to meet you, Ethan. I'm Zoe.
Ethan:Nice to meet you, Zoe.
I smiled at him before he took his dog and started walking away. I finished walking home, before seeing Tal's car in our drive-in.
What is he doing here?
I walk in, and saw Tal, Michael, Cenna, Anthony and David sitting in the living room.
Me:Hey guys.
Cenna:Why aren't you at school?
Me:I could ask the same thing.
Cenna:Got suspended.
Me:Same.
I said with no regrets. I sat next to Cenna and started eating from his bowl of chips.
Me:What you do?
Cenna:Started a fight.
Me:Called the teacher a slut and a bitch.
Cenna:Got suspended for 3days.
Me:1week.
I looked over at him before we started laughing. Cenna doesn't get in trouble often, but when he does I usually follow.
Tal:Why is it funny?
Anthony:What did our aunt said?
Me:No biggies. Just she's suspending me and that's about it.
Michael:She's not gonna tell your mom.
Cenna:Three, two, one...
DRING DRING DRING
My mom. She's calling on my phone right now.
Me:Holà mamita.
Mom:ZOE MARIE RIVERA!!!!!
Me:Yeah that's my name.
Mom:Don't give me this attitude, young lady.
Me:I'm not giving attitude.
Mom:You are grounded until you are 80years old.
Me:You can't do that!!!!
Mom:Watch me.
And she hung up, I looked at Cenna before asking him if I could crash at his place. He said sure. So I went to my room and started packing my bags.
Tal:So you're just gonna leave.
I took a deep breath keeping all the tears from falling.
Me:What does it looks like I'm doing?
I said trying to be rude, but my voice just cracked.
Tal:Zoe, you can't just run away.
Me:Watch me.
I finished packing my bags, and turned around to face Tal.
Me:Tal, get out of my way.
Tal:You can't just...
Me:Get out of my way.
I said coldly. He got out of the door before grabbing my hand. He made me twirl while I dropped my bags. My hands were on his chest and our faces were about 3centimetres away from each other.
Tal:You can't leave me.
Me:It's not forever.
I said before walking away from him, picking up my bags and starting to go down the stairs. I looked over at Cenna, who was already ready to leave. I kissed my brother on the cheek before hugging the rest of the boys. When I was about to leave I saw Kyle.
Oh shit.
Kyle:Baby.
Me:Fuck off Kyle. Or I am going to murder you.
Kyle:Baby I miss you. I need you.
Me:Deal with him.
I said in direction of Anthony, before getting in the car and driving off. When we finally arrived at Cenna's house, I went inside to hug his parents. His mom has always been so kind with me and his dad threaded me like his daughter. I love them so much. They've always been like my second family, since day one.
Me:Your sister isn't here?
Cenna:She left earlier.
Me:Oh, sucks.
I said kinda sad, I've really wanted to say bye to her before she left. Cenna's mom asked us if we wanted food, and why we were here.
Me:Umm...that's a funny story....umm....
Cenna:I got suspended and Zoe too.
They looked at us for a second before going back to what they were doing. Okay? Wtf?!
Me:C, can we go to your room?
Cenna:Ya sure. Do you want food?
Me:I'll just have O..
Cenna:Oreos with milk. I know.
I smiled at him before I went up to his room. I've been avoiding my moms text and phone calls. Tal texted me when we arrived he said that he should've hugged me. I closed my phone leaving him on read, which was maybe rude but I didn't care. Then Cenna came back with some snacks, and we sat on his bed will watching Netflix. We watched "Supernatural" and started fighting over who was who. I said I was more of a Dean type and him more of a Sam type.
Cenna:No, I ain't a book nerd.
Me:You kinda are C.
He looked at me offended before throwing me a pillow.
Me:Oh it's on Cenna.
I said throwing him another pillow. That's how our pillow fight started. When we finished, there was pillows everywhere and we were on his bed tired af.
Me:I won.
Cenna:No, I won.
Me:Wanna go again?!
Cenna:Too tired.
Me:Same.
And we started laughing.
