"Mum?" Louis asked concerned. "Mum what's the matter? What happened?"

Louis's mother sat at the kitchen table with her hands over her teary eyes. "Oh God..."

He dropped his duffle bag and ran to his mother's side, taking the woman into his arms. "Mum! Please don't cry! Tell me what happened! Tell me! Why are you crying?"

But his mother did nothing but sob in pain and shake. "Oh God, why? Why? Oh dear God..."

"Mum, tell me!" At this point Louis was beginning to yell. "What's going on? Let me help you!"

Louis's mother looked up at him with bloodshot eyes. "Louis..."

Louis's heart was pounding in his chest. He looked his sick-looking mother in her eyes. "Mum. Tell me what happened. Are you okay? Where is Tommy?"

His mother let out another wail. "Oh God! Oh dear God, why is this happening? No! No! No! Why?"

"Mum! Talk to me! Where is Tommy? Is he okay? What happened?" Louis himself felt his eyes begin to swell with tears. "W-Where is Tommy?"

"Louis!" A familiar voice boomed from seemingly nowhere. "Louis, come on! Louis! Louis!"

"Louis!" Liam shook the feathery-haired man who appeared unconcious. "Wake up, mate! Are you okay?"

Louis was in a cold sweat and tried to breathe, but he felt like he was drowning in his own skin. "What? What happened?" He sputtered until he calmed down. "What time is it?" He took in his surroundings- his head on the desk.

"I thought you were fucking dead!" Said Liam. "Last night we were about to leave but you wanted to go to your desk first. Then I just found you liked this. I hope you don't mind but I uh, needed to use your car to get home last night..."

Louis's mouth was incredibly dry and he still had this jumping feeling in his chest he would get after a nightmare. "Oh, yeah it's fine. I didn't mean to fall asleep. But I guess I did, right?"

"You look like you're about to throw up." The taller man remarked. "Bad dream?"

Louis stayed silent.

"The usual dream?" Liam asked sheepishly.

Louis nodded and stood. "I'm alright. It's over now, ain't it? Perfect mood to get Halloween started though, eh?" He chuckled.

"Well get ready to feel even better...or worse, I don't know." Liam said awkwardly. "We know exactly where to find Zayn. Got a call just a few minutes ago on him chasing a few boys up and down Main. Apparently he likes goin' both ways."

"Aw, come on baby, don't be that way!" A dark-haired, tan boy called out to another boy walking around the corner. "You know you're my favorite little thing on this block!" He stood on the sidewalk outside a little shop, where the owner had called the cops to complain. He wore black skinny jeans, ripped around the knees and a black leathery jacket. He had a tattoo that crept from the collar of his shirt to his neck, a rose of some sort. Black laced-up boots were on his feet and a cigarette between two fingers. Yeah, he looked pretty badass. The eyebrow and lip ring kinda added for the effect.

Louis and Liam stepped out of the car, and the air was a bit cold- perfect to start off the scariest day of the year. "Hey, Malik!" Louis went, getting closer to the teen. "What's all the fuss about out here?"
