I watched the buildings pass by as Luke looked for a song to listen to on the radio.
"Luke just pick a song already" I whined looking over at him.
"Fine" he sighed stopping on the next station he came across.
"And next on Rock 94.1, Poprocks and Coke by Greenday"
"Oh my gosh" Luke and I said in sync. We both laughed grinning at each other as our song played on the radio.
"Where'er you go,
You know I'll be there." Luck sang looking over at me every now and the as he drove.
"If you go far,
You know I'll be there." I sang back giggling.
"I'll go anywhere,
So I'll see you there.
You place the name,
You know I'll be there.
You name the time,
You know I'll be there.
I'll go anywhere,
So I'll see you there.
I don't care if you don't mind,
I'll be there not far behind.
I will dare, Keep in mind,
I'll be there for you." We sang in sync erupting into laughter after the chorus.I looked over at Luke who looked back at me with a smirk plastered to his face.
"You're weird you know that?" he said leaning over the counsel.
"Would you like me as much if i wasn't" I smirked, placing my forehead on his.
I watched as his eyelids flickered shut and he leaned in. Closing my eyes and did the same, his lips hovering over mine as his hot breath fanned my face. A loud beep erupted from the car behind us causing us to split apart and for Luke to step on the gas. I watched as his cheeks heated up as we stopped at the next light. Laughs erupted again in the small front seat of Luke's car. Peering at him from behind my glasses I saw him smirk before playfully pushing me.
"You alright Alex" Jonathan asked, his eyebrows scrunched in concern as he turned out of our neighborhood.
"Mhmm, yeah." I hummed in agreement.
"Alright" he said turning back to the road.
The ride there was quiet, the only conversation going on was the one between the two radio hosts. I sighed as we pulled into the parking lot, it was practically full. Looks like it's going to be a long day. Jonathan luckily found a spot near the front, pulling in and turning off the truck. He looked over at me, his blue eyes shining, before getting out of the truck and closing it behind him. I got out and followed him before turning and waiting for Delilah.
"Del hurry up! We're going to be late."
"Mmm" she hummed picking up her step.
I looked over at Jonathan who was already looking over at me with a smile.
The park was filled with sunburnt tourists and full sized families. Rolling my eyes I jogging towards the changing rooms. I hurried to put on my swimsuit and ball cap so I could get to my stand on time.
"Don't forget your whistle" Melody, a coworker, said handing me the bright blue whistle.
"Thanks" I said grabbing the whistle and shoving my bag into my locker.
"No problemo" she chuckled walking away.
I sighed walking out of the room, stopping to put on my sunglasses.
"Fun times at castle hill water park"

"How was your day Delilah" I asked as she sluggishly walked over to me."I had a lovely day. The annoying kids really made me smile and Jonathan's terrible puns. They were amaaaazing " she said swung her head around before shoving her punch card into the machine.
"I'm sorry" I said giving her a half smile.
She just rolled her eyes and walked off.
I punched my card and was about to walk away when a pair of strong arms wrapped around me. I jumped and turned around being greeted by a lazy smile and shining blue eyes.
"Hey" he chuckled.
"Jonathan what the hell." I said smacking his upper arm.
"Let's go home pouty pants" he said walking away with a chuckle
"I hate you" I said under my breath
"What was that?"
He turned around giving me a smirk.
"I hate y-"
I could finish my sentence before he picked me up swinging me over his shoulder.
"Put me dowwwwn" I giggled punching his back in frustration.
"Ok" he said packing me lightly next to his truck.
He smiled down at me rubbing the back of his neck. He was about to say something when Delilah screamed for us to "get in the damn truck" from the backseat.
"I think we should head home" I chuckled.
"You think?" He smiled.
