"No way, let's have a cat!" Minseok protested. You had been arguing for almost 20 minutes about whether to get a cat or a puppy. Obviously, you wanted the puppy because... Well because you just did and no matter how much you loved your boyfriend there were situations where you couldn't just let him win, like this one.

You shook your head in disagreement and pouted at his stubbornness, you were sure that you had been using your cutest expressions ever, yet he seemed so unbothered by them, which meant you had to go with the harder methods.

"No! Cat's are way too bossy and bitchy..." you tried, of course not every cat was as you described it but your experience had always been the bad one, so you weren't looking forward to a cat who would ignore you and act cute only when they wanted to. Apparently; cats didn't like you.

"What about the puppy then? A puppy poops and pees everywhere Y/n, it's probably going to crave lots of attention and I don't want a dog sleeping in our bed at night, or worse, pee on our sheets! Or even worse, stealing your attention from me, I want you for myself." although his words were sweet, and you would be lying if you said they didn't affect you, you had to push back the will of tackling him down into hug because that would mean that he had won.

"You can never fully trust cats, while the dog will always be loyal to you. 'The dog is the man's best friend' they say!" you quoted with confidence, this time sure that he couldn't argue against you. Taking a few steps closer you stood in front of him, eyes to eyes, a certain tension between the two of you; almost as if you were fighting through your gazes, shooting lasers and threats.

A short while after he finally sighed and you eyed him questioningly, hope bubbling inside of your chest.

"How can we get pets when taking care of you is hard enough, babe?" he grinned evilly and you felt how your jaw dropped to the floor. He didn't just do that.
