Part 3 - First day in Prague

Waking up by the alarm clock at 7 am was the worst, I yawned and pulled the covers over my head. Yesterday I woke up really early because of the late bird that I am, I started to pack for my trip at the last minute. A little bit more of sleep won't kill me, come on I'm on a vacation, I need my beauty sleep. I rolled over in my bed and snoozed off.

I woke up around 10 am feeling pretty good, I took a long shower, I changed into jean shorts and a white and gray striped shirt with white converse shoes, did some light makeup, pulled my hair up in a bun and I was ready for the day.

Next thing I knew, I was on the mission to find Starbucks, I was starving and I really needed my ice coffee to cope with this heat, man I didn't think that July's are so hot in Europe. Walking into Starbucks I ordered Chocolate Cream Frappuccino Duble Blended with some avocado toast and yogurt fruit bowl.

Wandering around Prague all day was great, I forgot about all the problems back home, taking pictures of people and just watching them run to do their errands was funny. I bought another iced coffee and sat nearby Prague Astronomical clock.

It was 6 pm already and the bells started to ring, it was a full hour and those little figures on the clock started to move, man they looked creepy but all the people on the Town Square just froze for a minute and watched the clock and figures move around. My stomach started to growl a little and again I looked around for some food.

I came back to my hotel room at 8 pm and kicked off my shoes and waited for my sister to call me on FaceTime.

My laptop started to ring.

* FaceTime call from Kayla*

' Hey sister, what's up??' she said yelling and waving at the screen.

' Hey girl, nothing much, I feel pretty tired, and you, how's everything back home?'

" I'm good, mom is going a bit crazy because of the packing but it's fine, Mike got a job as a model in Miami, so I guess he won't be moving to Anne Marie with us. "

I started to laugh.
" You know that mom always gets crazy when it comes to moving. Remember her 2 years ago when they moved our coffee shop from the center to the seaside? She went locaaa!"

" Y es que tú te vuelves loca. Mami, se te nota. Lo dice tu boca-a-a-a. Tú te vuelves loca-loca-loca. Mami, se te nota-a-a-a. " we started to sing and laugh.

" Did Mike sign to an agency? Will he go to castings?"

" I don't know Soph, I didn't really ask him about it, all that I know is that he's renting an apartment in Miami and he will be living there. Good thing is that if we would like to go to some sick party's we could crash at his place." She said smiling and winking at me.

" Stop doing that your eyes gonna fall out. Plus you're 17, are you crazy, dad would never let you go out. But yeah I wouldn't mind, I'm craving some party's just like I'm craving chocolate now. " I said while I looked around for some chocolate.

" How are you really? I saw that picture of Jay, what do you think?"

" Honestly? I don't know really, deep down I still love him you know, we are together already for almost like what, eight years, but ever since he moved to Montreal at the beginning of the year he changed so much, I changed." I casually stuffed some chocolate in my mouth. " I guess I hoped too much with him, I had this vision of us moving together to Montreal, I would take some online videography courses, do my job over the internet and fly back home every two or three weeks, I was hurt when he said that I should stay in Florida and follow my dreams and that nothing would change even if this would be a distance relationship." I stayed silent for a second.
"But now, I really don't know, I care about him, I want us to be happy, and with him like that, it's really hard and making me unhappy. That picture just confirmed my thoughts, I can't keep up with this, I don't want him to be deprived because we try to make things work when really they're not."

" Well girl, honestly you're a mess, I really don't know why you didn't break up with him when he left, now it's just making you sad. You two really should talk." she said with a small smile, then I heard dad yelling her name.

" Go, go, I'll be fine, thank you really for this baby sis, I just needed to take this off my chest."

" I know you did, talk to you later okay and good night." With that, she waved goodbye and turned off the camera.

I looked at the clock it said 10 pm, I replied to some texts, I said goodnight to Jay even tho he didn't respond on my last two replies that I send him when I landed and one after that. But hey, I just couldn't stay quiet. I really wanna solve this, at least we still could be friends. I turned off the alarm for tomorrow and fell asleep just like that.
