New Opportunities Require Sacrifice

At RAW on Monday, we were in North Carolina. Spencer was particularly excited to introduce me to his old band mates from years ago.

Yes, he used to be in a band called The Stars of Tomorrow, he was the lead singer. And once I found out we'd be in their neighborhood, I had to meet them.

Seth gave the rest of the members backstage passes and I eagerly awaited to see them. Spencer was sitting beside me, also happily waiting.

"Bruddas!" Spencer yelled, as three men started walking down the hall beside Seth.

"Hey man, what's up!" One of the guys fist bumped him.

"Guys, this is my beautiful girlfriend Harper. Harper, this is Larry, Henry, And Wrench." He introduced us.

"Nice to meet you guys. Heard a lot about you all." I chuckled.

"Some good and some bad I hope." Larry joked.

"You boys hungry? We could grab a bite to eat in catering." Spencer offered. The guys nodded.

"I'll meet up after, let you all catch up. Bye babe." I kiss Spencer before heading to the locker room.

Maddy was inside sitting next to Nikki, tying up her boots. Her title laid beside her, as she was about to go out and do her contract signing for the Ronda Rousey match.

"Hey girliessss.." I waved, sitting down.

"Hiiiii Harper..I see Spencer was reunited with the band tonight." Maddy smiled.

"Oh yeah. I've been trying to convince him to play at Seth's wedding. Surprise him." I revealed. Both their faces lit up.

"That'd be the perfect gift! Seth would never forget it." Nikki grinned. "Besides, they have some pretty good songs."

"I downloaded them all on iTunes earlier, pretty catchy." I agreed. I couldn't deny my boyfriend was pretty talented.

"All of our men have different talents, my man is a great ass kicker and kisser, Nikki's man can twerk all night, and Harper's got a singer." Maddy whistled. "We pick them good ladies."

"Hell yeah. Speaking of which, I found a karaoke bar we could drive to after the show. Maybe Spencer and his guys could perform a song?" Nikki mentioned.

"Really? That'd be so dope. I'm down." I nodded.

"Sure, always down for some karaokayyyyyy!" Maddy cheered. "I'll let Deano know."

"Great, I'll let Dolph know as well, and I'll see you later tonight!" Nikki clapped.

Well this should be interesting..

After the show ended, everyone met up in the parking lot and we followed Dolph and Nikki to the karaoke bar.

Larry and Henry went to order us all drinks, while everyone else took seats.

After they returned with a few pitchers of beer and a pitcher of water for Maddy, the host appeared on stage.

"Welcome welcome everyone to KARAOKEEEEE! Tonight is not about if you can sing good or not, it's about whether or not you have the guts to come up and sing!" He exclaimed, hyping the crowd up.

"Now before we start this, let me introduce North Carolina's very own music producer Bob Clarrey! He's joining us in hopes of finding some fresh new artists to take on the music industry! So if you think you have what it takes then come on up!"

The host pointed to a middle aged man in a fancy suit, sitting at a private booth on the side of the stage.

"Holy shit...that's Bob Clarrey! One of the most famous music producers in North Carolina!" Spencer and the rest of the band were in awe.
