Xanders Point of veiw;

         "Well done boys!" A scruffy looking  man calls out to his fellow hunters. They looked upon their destruction with pride.

         "As long as our organization continues this, soon the world will be rod of these vile freaks" the scruffy man called out again.

         Giving the ruins of the destroyed village, full of dead wolves, and burning buildings, one last prideful look he ordered his men to head north. I continued watching from behimd a bush in the trees as they all got into their jeeps and drove off through the widest trails in the forest.
The ruined village they left behind was eerily silent, besides the roaring flames that were starting to
Spread to the trees. I had watched everything...from the moment they arrived, to the moment the last wolf was killed. It was something I could never forget, what did they do to deserve a fate like this?

        I'd hear stories from my mother of werewolves before, and she never said anything bad about them, only a few powerful pack were truly evil. One of the packs weren't even fully wolves, but part hellhounds, created when a wolf drank the blood of a hell hound.  That's what she told me anyways, I never truly beloved that they were real, however I do now.

        After a few moments I sat up from my crouched position and hesitantly stepped out of the trees and towards the village. I was to scared to confront the men, after all I'm only a 27 year old hiker with no girlfriend, a barely stable job, and no friends. Hell I didn't even finish high school. But I at least wanted to check for any survivors.

         The biggest building in the village had giant black letters spell out; Moonstone Pack, population 2,000. That's a lot of dead wolves....but I've heard stories of this pack. They were very powerful until they went to war with another dark pack, and have since gone off the radar...to think the surviving members of the pack were hiding out here is strange. Now the pack truly has come to an end. But why?who were those men? This was all very confusing, if my mother were still alive I'd ask her so many questions...she oddly knew a lot about werewolves.

        Searching around the ruins I frowned. It seems there are no surviving wolves. I started heading back to the trail that will take me home when I heard it. A soft whine. Spinning around I looked around frantically and there I saw it. A small wolf pup huddled up closely to what I'm assuming is the corpse of one of its parents.

        I slowly walk towards it and it stares at me fearfully "shh its okay...i won't hurt you" as I step closer it flattens it's ears and tucks it's tail baring it teeth at me. I crouch down to get closer to it and hold my hand out for it. It hesitantly sniffs my hand before focusing once again on its dead parent. I can't just leave it out here with no protection and a low chance of survival. I am not going to like the struggle of this....without a second chance I pick up the pup, it growls and tips and wiggled trying to get free. But I simply ignore it and walk back to the trail that will lead me home. Fortunately I live on the edge of the forest so if I end up raising this pup, I will love in a decent area for it. I am going to try and see if I can find another werewolf but they aren't social with humans I'm sure, and not easy to spot. But if I can't i will raise the pup...and keep...i looked down at it and checked under it's tail, keep Her safe.

Hmm. My first time writing and publishing a werewolf book. I wonder how this will go...
