Hello my loyal readers of The Last Moonstone! I have for you a new chapter. Finally *rolls eyes*
I am very very very sorry for the wait, and my lack of writing. *********************Iris pov
I heard Samuel snarl at me, “where are we going?!” replying In a quiet whisper, I said “Out of the train yard? It's private property, and we can't be spotted here!”I knew where we had stopped thankfully, it was the Old Santa Fe depot in Arkansas City, Kansas; and it was not only private property but haunted as well, not every spirit is a good one. I found that out the hard way unfortunately, so I rushed Sam and Sita out fast. I really, really did NOT want to see a wolf get possessed, especially the two powerful wolves I am currently with. Plus Sam is already asshole enough, I don't need a evil spirit making him worse.
The three of us hurried out of the train yard, having eavesdropped a lot into Sam's and Sita's conversations...I knew they needed a place to train Sita as human and wolf to fight and use her Goddess given powers. Fortunately I had done some research and knew about the ruins of the ancient Indian city of Etzanoa, a worthy place for Sam to train Sita.
But first we should get a hotel just in case...and supplies, because if we're going to train Sita in the ancient Indian city ruins, we will have to appease the spirits that still live there so neither of them or myself would be possessed. Now I only have to tell this to Sam. Should be fun right?
We stopped to take a break in a park and that's when I told Sam and Sita, my idea and lets just say Sam reacted exactly how I thought he would….
Sam's POV
I was already a little suspicious of Iris, and hardly trusted her, so when she told us we should train Sita in the ancient Haunted Indian city of Etzanoa I was very annoyed about I but was going to take it into consideration, and I was trying to keep my cool and not be mean to Iris for Sita… Seeing as she liked Iris...oddly. But, when Iris said we need to go get supplies so me or Sita would not get possessed...I snapped.
“WE ARE GOING TO TRAIN MY MATE WHERE!? There is NO way in all the Goddess holds sacred will she train there!”
My wolf was slightly agitated that Iris managed kept her cool as i freaked out at her, and could calmly explained to me, “It is a sacred ground so all those chasing her can't touch her Samuel...or they risk the wrath of not only your and hers Goddess, but also the God Wakanda of the ancient tribe, he will not tolerate violence on his sacred ground.”
I asked her in a slightly sarcastic and confused tone, “So if he does not tolerate violence is training not violence Iris? How will getting ‘supplies’ protect us from their wrath?”
“Yes duh, training is classified as violence that is why we are getting an offering to the Moon Goddess for a bit of protection but also an offering to the natives God Wakanda, not just so we have his permission to let us train on this sacred land but also to inform them we come here with no ill or evil intent. However if the ones chasing you Sita come on this land with any ill or evil intent will not be allowed on this land, we will be protected. which is why I suggest that place”
Calmly explaining anything to a pissed off and protective wolf...especially if it deals with their mate...made me respect her a little more. Still dislike her and distrust her. But she's earned some respect from me nonetheless. I sighed “what do we need then” I asked her looking over at Sita who's been oddly quiet this entire time.
“Well, follow me oh great angry one!” She chirped.
Sita and I followed her.
Iris lead us to a small little shop, it was more on the secluded side of the town, and filled with herbs, small artifacts and weird ingredients. I've been to more darker version of a place like this. Iris walked up to the counter where a frail looking women stood and greeted us as we approached.
