The Last Moonstone **hiatus**

Chapter 11

Sita's point of view:

"Well...." Kai looked around at the dead men and at Samuel "what happened here?" She asked turning to look at me.

"Those were hunters, they attacked my father while I shifted. Samuel here saved him...ish, and Samuel is apparently my mate" I told her before continuing to much on some food.

I still didn't understand the whole Mate thing, or how it was gonna work with Samuel and myself. I'm honestly scared of him, yet I feel the strong urge to hug him. It's very mixed feeling. How does us being mates work?

Kai gave the dead bodies one last look before walking in to he kitchen. I glanced at father to see he had fallen asleep. I smiled softly. Looking back at Kai I noticed she was dressed similar to me only she carried a bag, mine was in my room.

"Okay then. Well you ready to go? Is prefer we get some distance here before I shift tomorrow."

I nodded. "Yeah, let me just grab my bag."

"I'm coming with, but we'll need to make a quick pit stop so I can grab some things from the apartment I rented here" Samuel spoke as I walked towards my room, he followed me.

"Uhm...okay I guess. Make it quick."

"sure thing. meet me in the central park area" he demanded it a serious tone. I nodded as i grabbed my bag and walked back to the kitchen.

Samuel left to get his things and i woke up father while Kai munched on our food to give us privacy.

"Hi dad.." I said when he was awake and smiled sadly.

He gave a small smile back "Hi Sita."

"Kai, Samuel and myself will be leaving soon, are you okay?"

"Physically yes. But I'm sad too see you go..." tears were in father's eyes and I felt my own begin to burn.

"I'm sad to go to father...i will miss you a lot. Thank you for taking care of me, thank you for being my father.."

"It was the greatest decision I ever made to adopt you...i love you my beautiful little girl, stay strong out there and fight for your life.."

"I will..." i gave father a gentle hug before pulling away and giving. Him one last smile before heading out with kai.

Breathing heavily I grabbed the silver chain necklace Angie gave me and gripped it tightly, my hand brushing against my collar bone. Kai and I walked to central park and sat down at a picnic table waiting for Samuel.

Samuel's point of veiw:

I left my mate and her half breed friend and headed to the apartments I ended up renting a room in. After I saw the hunters following me i decided it would be best if I blended in. All my stuff was in my apartment, weapons, money, traveling gear. I've been on my own for years and learned what best suits me as a human surviving within the wild. Of course I always had the option to shift but I need certain places to shift.

Digging through the dresser I grabbed my clothes, which was a skin tight armour that was made to stay on when you shift, and over that I put on some lighter thinner armour, I put on a coat and pulled the hood over my face. Grabbed the gun I stole from Hell Hound alpha and then grabbed my sword that I had crafted years ago.

Once I had what I needed I picked up my bag and rushed out to get back to Cinder or...Sita, run with her and the half breed and protect her. I don't think she realized she is Moonstones Alpha, but I'm gonna have to eventually tell her why everyone wants her.
