「Third person pov」

The next morning you woke up almost unnaturally warm. A glimmer of the sun starting to rise flickered through the curtains creating a comfortable atmosphere. The both of you; while still sleeping were close together. Your forehead was resting on hide's chest while your hands softly gripped his shirt, bodies slightly pressed together under the stifling warmth of the large Blanket that draped over the bed and the two of you.

When you finally did wake you couldn't get up, or more so wouldn't get up. Hide was so peacefully and beautifully sleeping it seemed wrong to wake him. Pressing your lips into a fine line you settled back into his chest and sighed wanting to get up still but not doing so. Briefly closing your own e/c eyes you drag in a long breath before you cuddled closer to the blonde, looking up at his sleeping face once more admiring how handsome he is even after everything.

"I understand how I fell in love with you-"

You whispered softly, it was muffled but still audible. E/c orbs fluttered shut for the last time.

*small timeskip*

The smell of coffee invaded your nose and the extra warmth on the bed seemed to vanish. your eyes open only to see the sun shining back blinding the hell out of you almost.

Stumbling out of bed you try to walk to the kitchen where a source of noise and the smell of coffee was coming from.

「First person 」

I entered the kitchen only to see hide obviously making a mess and humming to himself. 'Oh god what is he doing?' I thought to myself walking closer to him.

"Hm? Oh y/n you're awake!"

Hide states happily as he comes over to engulf me in a hug that wasn't asked for, but hey I'm not complaining.

"good morning."
I flatly say my voice a little dry. Smiling, I hug back appreciating the cute gesture. My brows furrowed when I looked around causing me to ask a question.

"What exactly were you doing in here?"

"Well uh nothing really."

You squint at him but soften once you glance at the food suddenly understanding.

"You were cooking-"

The blonde only smiled before ruffling the top of my head. I internally deadpaned at how dumb I could be at times

After breakfast I continued to talk with hide as if nothing had ever happened before, honestly I was happy to be around him and talk like how we used to. But I still wondered about how he was holding up or if he remembered anything new? I never asked though of course because It might ruin the good atmosphere and chnage it to an anxious one; which I obviously didn't want but the questions still swarm in my head.

"Eh? y/n are you following me?"

The blonde stops in the middle of his intense story looking curiously in my direction. Rubbing the back of my head I sigh a little.

[third person]

"Sorry I kinda spaced out Thinking about something.."

"Ohhhh~ what'cha thinking about?"

The blonde teased winking at you in a playful manner at which you snickered at momentarily before proceeding, with very much caution.
