10 years ago today. Thats when she left us. I was only 6, but my parents weren't married yet. My dad had asked my mom many times but each time she simply said she wasn't ready.
She left a box and letter for me. I was told not to open either until I was 10, so 4 years later I finally found out what she deemed so important.
She had left me a jar of dirt. What kind of mother walks out on her 6 year old kid and leaves them a jar of fucking dirt ? A shit one. I didn't even bother with the note until now. I'm 16, and I've just decided its time to know why I was left with that.
