CHAPTER 3

You and Joon walked in the living room and looked around. Your parents and Joon’s were sitting around the room.

“Yo?” Joon looked at everyone.

“Sit down.” Joon’s dad said.

You and Joon sat beside each other on the couch.

“Okay,” Your dad clapped his hands together, “good news or bad news?”

“Good news first.” You smiled.

“Well I’ve been promoted to CEO of a branch.” Your dad smiled.

Everyone clapped their hands.

“Bad news?” Joon arched a brow.

Your dad took a deep breath, “The branch is in New York.”

‘Hell no.’ Joon’s heart sank.

“Does that mean?” You started getting worried.

Your mom silently nodded.

“Andwae.” You and Joon mumbled and felt your insides weaken.

“Honey it’s for the best.” Your mom assured.

“I-I k-know.” You stuttered, “When do we leave?”

“Tomorrow morning.” Your dad said.

“Oh god.” You felt like you couldn’t breathe, “So soon.”

‘No,’ Joon’s heart panicked, he looked at you, ‘what will happen to me when you’re gone?’

“So tonight,” Joon’s mom started, “we’re giving you two until 12 to be with each other.”

Joon looked at his watch, ‘Only 5’o clock, there’s still time.’

You smiled, “Thank you.”

“No prob.” She smiled.

“Oppa go change,” you patted Joon’s shoulder, “let’s go out.”

Joon blinked and stood up, “Y-ye.”

You smiled and left the room.

“We’ll be out too,” Joon’s dad told Joon, “Go have fun.”

Joon smiled, nodded and left the house.
