On your way home, Joon carried you on his back. The rain had already stopped, but you two were soaked wet.
“Until when are you staying here?” Joon asked.
“Three weeks.” You sighed.
“Only?” Joon frowned.
“Depends on mom’s seminar.”
“Why’d you come back?”
You smiled, “Cause I wanted to see you and because I really missed you oppa.” *And because I couldn’t see you after I marry Min Ho.*
“I’m glad your back.” Joon smiled, *Cause now I won’t let you go.*
You and Joon told each other what happened after you left for the States. Joon was surprised that you cried every night; You were surprised that Joon’s attitude changed 180 degrees. Joon put you down before walking into his house.
“Oh my goodness!” Stacy looked at you two, “You’re both wet!”
“I’ll go get the towels.” Jeff announced.
“Let me get it.” Joon walked to a cabinet of towels.
Jeff sat back down beside Stacy. All three parents watched Joon wipe your hair and you wipe his. They all had one thought in mind, *They’re more than best friends.*
After you showered everybody ate some snacks that Stacy and Yoo Rin cooked. The house was filled with laughter and happiness. Something that hasn’t been felt ever since you left. After eating Joon brought you up to his room.
You smiled and jumped on his bed, “Remember all those sleepovers we’d do here?”
Joon snickered, got a pillow, and sat beside you, “Oh yeah. Remember all those ghost stories?”
You shivered and covered your ears, “No! No! My ears!”
Joon laughed, “After all these years you’re still scared of them?”
“Aish, it was all your fault anyway!” You hit him with a pillow, over and over again.
“Stop!" Joon laughed and blocked his face from the pillow. Laughter filled the room, something that hasn’t been heard in 5, sad, long years.
“Ya!” Joon caught your wrist and pinned you down. He was almost on top of you, with his face inches from yours. You were laughing too hard to notice, but when you stopped you saw how close Joon’s face was.
*I didn’t know oppa looked so good up close.* You blinked at him with your heart beating fast. Joon’s phone rang, breaking his focus into your eyes.
*Damn it,* Joon got his phone and sat up, “Yeoboseyo?”
“Hey your album is still with Thunder.” Seung Ho said through the phone.
“Aish,” Joon hissed, “I’ll be there soon.”
You sat up, dazed, at what happened. You remembered how close Joon’s face was, you smiled and hid your blushing face.
Joon looked at you, “Why are you hiding your face?”
You quickly stopped blushing, “I remembered the ghost stories!” you lied.
Joon smiled and pulled you into a hug, “It’s okay, oppas here to protect you from those ghost.”
You smiled and hugged Joon back. You didn’t know why but you felt like you didn’t want to let go of him. You were afraid that if you did, you’d lose him.
Joon felt that you didn’t want to let go of him, he smiled, “Ya? Why don’t you want to let go of me?”
“Cause I’m afraid.” You whispered.
Joon’s eyes widened, “Afraid of what?”
“That if I let you go,” You gulped, “I’ll lose you again.”
Joon’s heart melted at your words as held you tighter, “You will never lose me.”
You smiled and pulled away from him, “I know.”
Joon smiled, “Come on, I want you to meet my friends.” You smiled and let Joon pull you out of his room.
