Chapter 9

I can't believe it... As we walk I look at Murdoc with Noodle piggybacking on Murdoc. Noodle's silently sleeping. "So...this is one way to find one of your band mates" I say awkwardly chuckling. Murdoc nods, "Y-yeah, heh..." he says. We're still doing a recap of what the fuck just happened. "But Noodle is such a little girl, how did she end up here?" I ask.

    Murdoc raises his finger, "She told us that she wanted to find out who she was, looks like she got captured or I don't know..." he said. I looked at her again, poor thing  I thought. Murdoc kept walking  forward. "Do you know where we're going?" I ask. Murdoc laughs, "HA! Of course I know where we're go-" Murdoc stutters. He starts to spin at a 360 circle.

    Murdoc lets out a bloodcurdling scream of anger and annoyance. "Yep, we're lost" I say. Noodle wakes up at the sound of Murdoc's scream, "Noodle, hey Noodle. I need you to tell us where we are" Murdoc asks. "Didn't I tell you already?" she asks a little tired/pissed. Murdoc sighs, "I have a terrible memory luv, you'll need to tell me again" he says with puppy dog eyes. Noodle groans, "Walk straight until you see a tree with red leaves, then make a left, keep going that way for about two minutes, then make a right, walk through for a minute and done" she says. Murdoc groans.

        A few hours pass of twists and turns with the lost and confused pickle man until we finally reach the van. Noodle dashes into the van to lie on the mat to continue her peaceful sleep. I chuckle and I grab my ukulele and sit on the lake's edge to play Tomorrow Comes Today.

Everybody's here with me (We) got no camera to see

I hear someone sit next to me, I turn to see Murdoc and he beckons me to continue
Don't think I'm all in this world      
The camera won't let me roll

I suddenly hear Murdoc clearing his breath to sing the next lines

And the verdict doesn't love our soul
The digital won't let me go
Yeah yeah yeah I'll pay (yeah yeah yeah)
When tomorrow
Tomorrow comes today

I continue to play the ukulele until I find an end to the song. Murdoc looks at me. "You have talent luv, I swear" he murmured. I blush a little, "Thanks" I say. I suddenly feel his hand hold my hand. I blush at the sudden action that makes me blush. "Oh, hehe" I chuckle. Murdoc looks at me again. "Oh uh sorry" he says chuckling, scratching the back of his head with a tint or pink on his face.

I shrug off the thought. Murdoc abruptly stands up, "Well, I'm sure as hell tired down to the bone, might hit the hay" he says and starts walking awkwardly towards the van. "Yeah" I agreed, "hold up I'm coming too" I say. Murdoc opens the front door to lay down on the passenger seat.

   "W-Wait, don't you wanna sleep on the mat with us?" I ask. Murdoc shakes his head, "I won't have enough space, y'know. You guys can sleep there, don't worry, I'm fine" he says.

"Alright, 'night" I say. "'Night!" Murdoc replied. I snuggle in the mat and close my eyes...

I open my eyes, it's morning. Murdoc glances back. "Mornin' luv" he says. "Hey" I say. I see Noodle still asleep. "Want some eggs? I made them earlier" he says, passing me the food. "Thanks" I say. Murdoc shifts the passenger seat and switches to the drivers seat. "Right, let's get a move on, right?" He says. I nod.

Murdoc starts the van. And with that, we're off. Murdoc turns on the radio, Black Sabbath started playing. "Now that guy was weird dickwad, but he had a good taste in music" he says bopping his hand on the steering wheel to the beat. Noodle pops from the backseat "Uncle Murdoc, where are we going?" She asks.

Murdoc cackled "Sweetie, we are headin' to Miami!" He says. Noodle arches an eyebrow. "But we so far from there, what are we going to do in the meantime?" She asks. Murdoc shushes her. "Honey, we're doing a road trip that's what!" He says.
