Nothing More

Chapter 6

Y/n's P.O.V
I woke up at about 12:00 pm. The van was in some trees. We seemed to be in like a forest. I lift my head up and see Murdoc's shilouhet from afar, using a mini BBQ and enjoying the wilderness.

Murdoc sees me and says "Mornin' luv, made ya some breakfast!" pouring it to a plastic plate. I open the car door and step out. I stretch first, and then walk tworads him. "...What happened last night?" I asked.

Murdoc looked at me and started laughing. "You got so drunk that you thought you stole the car keys. Well you did but you didn't slave about to drive us anywhere from the state you were" he explained.

"What else did I do?" I ask. "Murdoc starts to blush "Nothing else" he quickly sputtered. "Ok...well I'm digging in" I say.

I take a bite from my eggs and ham. Murdoc takes a sip off of a mug. "A good ol' cup of Joe hits the spot anytime" he said.

I keep munching. "Anyways, remember when I said that we were going to Nevada?" He asks. I nod sipping some more coffee. "So yeah. We are going to Miami Florida now" he said as I was taking a big sip and spat it out. "WHAT?! MIAMI FLORIDA?!"

Murdoc nods, "Yeah, I wanna start a new band. And Miami is like the best place to start it, honestly" "Well, ok then, Miami it is" I say.

Murdoc stands up. "Well, car's not gonna move itself will it?" He said. I finish my breakfast and stand up. "Yeah, let's go" I walk to the car and get in. Murdoc stops my tracks.

"Hold up luv. I busted my ass yesterday in getting the fuck outta there. Its your turn to drive" he says, guiding me to the drivers seat.

"I mean I don't care, I'll drive" I said. I start the car. "Easy" I say starting to drive. "Great, Imma go take some z's" Murdoc said going to the back where the mattress is.

I start to drive with no problem. I keep driving, honestly, I don't know how to get to Miami, so I just keep driving forward.

Few hours later Murdoc wakes up. "Mmm stop fucking nagging me 2D" he muttered opening his eyes, realizing that 2D was not there. Murdoc jolted up. "S-sorry" he said giving an awkward chuckle. I shrug it off.

I hear Murdoc rummaging on the back.

Murdoc's P.O.V
I look around this guys stuff. I find a whole bunch of clothes so yay me. I keep looking. I have a feeling that there are some stuff underneath the clothes pile. I was right, I find some cuffs lube and a sleep mask.

I let put a loud laugh. "Why are you laughing, what happened?" She says turning around. "Nothing, eyes on the road" I say in an ordering tone. She rolls her eyes and turns to keep on driving.

I quickly shuffle and hide this guy's business. "Oh yeah, have you've been keeping eyes on the signs?" I ask. "Hm?" She replies.

I repeat with a kind of hard tone "I said, are you looking at the signs?" Y/n stayed silent, she started whistling. "Nope!" She said, in a happy-go lucky tone.

I sigh and then ask, "Why aren't you looking at the signs?" she then replies with, "You for some reason used your "Trippy Submarine Bus" to L.A, you plan to start a new band in Miami Florida...you know what that means?" "What?" I ask impatiently. "Road Trip!" she says with joy.

"Road, Trip?" I say about to snap. "Yeah. I don't know anything about America's foliage, animals, since we are basically driving to the other side of the U.S, least we could do is enjoy the scenery. Wouldn't you agree?" she says. I stay silent. "Well, we are doing a road trip whether you like it or not" she adds. "Whatever" I say.

"Good. I don't really care about your opinion at this point" she says. I scoff at what I just heard. I'm starting to regret taking her with me, not only she sucks at being a criminal, she's also making me have to wait on a new life opportunity on starting a new band.

But at this point, I don't care anymore. I'll just have to go with it. I lower the window and stretch my legs out. I'm feeling so fucking tired even though I just took a nap, strange. I just shrug it off. The rays of the sun, piercing my skin. The green leaves, casting a few shadows. What a beautiful day. I move my head to look at y/n.

She really is an idiot at times. I keep staring at her, till she finally glances back.

Y/n's P.O.V

I get an urge to glance to my right and see Murdoc staring at me. But he quickly looked away. I shrugs it off and kept driving. Murdoc dozes off again. I finally read one of the signs, Arizona. I keep trying to find a cool nook in Arizona. Until I bump into this beautiful kingdom.

I park the car, open the door and walk to the edge of the water and begin to take off my clothes. I only take off my pants, my shirt is so long so I usually have it tucked in my pants. I jump into the water and start to swim. I love to swim.

Murdoc's P.O.V

I wake up at the sound of someone swimming. I look out the window and see Y/n swimming. I open the door to go swim as well. I see her waving at me. "Hey sleepyhead! Water's nice, why not join?" she asks. "Not feeling it but thanks" I say. "Your loss. This water is really nice. YOLO am I right?" she says.

I grunt and take off my shirt and jump in the water. She squeals and covers herself. We have a water fight. I kinda beat her in every game though. After a few minutes we step out of the water. I just realize that she had no pants on. I turn around so she could go into the car and change.

She steps out with a t-shirt and some shorts. I look at her for a while and admire her beautiful e/c eyes. She giggles and pulls out her ukulele and starts playing. She starts to sing. I lay down on the grass and enjoy the rest of the evening.
