Augustus' POV
A cloud of smoke appears. New company.
Out comes a girl. She has blonde hair, a small figure, but her eyes are determined. Just like Hazel.
She walks off to a group of people that didn't come too long ago. She's in tears, saying sorry, but also smiling. But all of a sudden, that smile is wiped away. She walks away to the Chasm (where you can see the living) and I decide to follow.
"Hi, I'm Augustus Waters."
I say. She turns tensed then relaxes.
"Hey, I'm Tris Prior."
"You enjoying it up here?"
"Yeah, it's just..."
"You see that guy down there? That's Tobias Eaton. We were Four & Six. He's the love of my life."
Similar to Hazel & me.
"Tris Prior, you have similar story compared to me and my lover."
I point down to Hazel who is sobbing on her bed, being comforted by her mom.
"Well you see that girl down there? That's Hazel Grace. She has cancer too, she'll be joining us very soon."
"I can't wait to meet her."
She smiles.
She reminds me so much of Hazel. She even looks a little bit like her.
"You'll love her. You remind me of her."
"You remind me of Tobias. Just a little though. He was sweet, funny, caring... I loved him so much."
"Loved? Don't you mean love?"
I ask.
"Yeah but I'm not on earth anymore-"
"Yes, but that doesn't mean you have to stop."
She stares at me for a while. Studying me. Then she looks between us. I didn't know how close we were until now. She seems to notice too.
For some reason, I close the space, take her face, and kiss her. She kisses back. It's not because we like each other but because we're longing for our lovers.
"Augustus?"
I pull away and turn around.
"Hazel?"
