The love of a guardian angel

My name is Maina(May-Na)and I'm an angel.A young angel actually.I wasn't born into the place that humans call Earth.No,I was born in what they call heaven.I don't know why I wasn't born in earth but I just know that I'm here and not on earth.Since I was born in heaven,I don't have a normal life.Everyone is nice and there isn't any school.Instead of moving I stay in my one home for my whole life until I'm an adult.But enough of what's wrong with my life,let's get to a good part.

I've been assigned by one of the head angels-which means the angels who are given important tasks by the men that humans call God and Jesus-to go down to earth and be a guardian angel for a boy around my human age.I'm supposed to go now but I can say goodbye to my biological family then I have to leave.

"Goodbye my little Maina."my mother,Carol,said.She hugged me before passing me to my father.

"Goodbye darling."my father,Benjamin,hugged me and passed me onto my siblings who were all older than me.

I had 6 of them.All of my family were humans so I think that makes my siblings my half siblings.

They all hugged me and patted me on the back before Lucas,a head angel,took me and whisked me to the edge of heaven.

Our whole civilization was on an giant puffy thing that humans called clouds.So if we ever want to go down to earth then we can just fly off of the edge and down to earth.

"Come,Maina.I have to take you to that chunk of land called North America."Lucas said.

"I know where and what North America is."I told him.

He grabbed my wrist and flew me down down down until we reached a place called Texas.Then we flew even more farther down until we were in front of a pale yellow house.

"This is where you will see your human to guard.His name is David.You are to stay with him and keep him out of trouble until he dies."Lucas instructed."Do you think that you're ready to guard the boy?"

"Yes."

"Remember that no one can see you so don't try and yell at him if a car is coming you have to do something to save him."

"Okay."

"I think you are ready.Goodbye.I will check on you in two months."

"Goodbye."I waved at him as he flew away.

I started to get nervous as I made my way to the door of the house.I was about to knock before I remembered that no one could see me and that I can just fly right through.

When I got in a cup sailed past my head and broke into pieces on the wall.A little boy,around the age of 4,was standing on the staircase and yelling.

"Give me!"he was saying.

"Alexander Johnathan Mason you are not getting your game back until you apologize for breaking my cup and for punching your little sister in the face!"a female said.

"GIVE ME!"the boy,Alexander,screamed.

"David,could you please take your brother to his room and lock the door?"the mother asked.

Wait,David?That's the boy I'm supposed to protect right?I guess I should follow him while he's taking his brother away.

"Okay."a boy's voice said.

Out of one room a boy walked out and grabbed Alexander.He had messy black hair and gentle blue eyes.He looked about 14 or 15.He wore a brown t-shirt and baggy jeans with brown sneakers.He's kinda cute.I won't have a problem protecting him.

He picked up Alexander and walked up the stairs.I followed him,curious to see what a bedroom down here looks like.

"Stop squirming,Alex."David said while putting his brother in his room.
