TLOGA chapter 5

"H-how are you angels and devils?!You're humans!"I said."I can see your blood!"

"You can see blood?"David whispered.

"Shut up,I'll tell you later."

"Yes,I know,but I can see yours too,human."Ash smirked.

"I'm not human!"

"It was a joke..."

"Oh...I knew that."

Andrew rolled his eyes.

"Anyway,how did you turn into those?"I asked.

"'Those' is an offensive word,thing."Conner said.

"Okay.How did you humans turn into angels and devils?"

"It's a special thing.Something secret."Hailee said.

"You aren't gonna tell us?"David asked.

"No."Andrew said.

"Hey guys.Come look at the book."Misty waved the others over.

"What is it?"Noah asked.

"Just come look."

They walked over the the huddled group and started whispering and looking at me and David.

"What do you think they're talking about?"David asked.

"I dunno."I replied

"Can you hear them?"

"Yes but not much.I think they're using their powers to block out my powers!"

"They can do that?"

"I think so.Either that or my powers are getting weak."

"Let's hope it's the first one."

"Why?So I can defend us against angel attacks?"

"Yes."

"But they're here."

"But they probably won't let us stay with them."

"Sure they will."

"How do you know?"

"Angels have a tendency to give in to crying and pure innocence."

"So you're going to cry?"

"Am I not purely innocent?"

".....No."

"What?!I am!"

"You beat up Damon.Call that innocent?"

"Yes.It was self defense."

"Oh.You threatened Jared and made the kickball fly into his face."

"....That was emotional self defense."

"Whatever you say,Mai."

I rolled my eyes and towed him towards the group.

"What are you talking about?"I asked.

"Someone's a bit nosy."Conner said.

"Let us see whatever you're looking at!"I demanded.

"That's not the right way to ask."

"Please let us see whatever you're looking at."

"Fine."Conner moved out of the way.

I gave him a thank you glare and looked at the thingy.I gasped when I saw it.It saw that it was a book but that's not why I gasped.

I gasped because on the page that they were looking at there was a picture of David lying on the floor with a pool of blood surrounding him and then on the next page was a picture of Damon holding me up to a wall by my neck.
