TLOGA chapter 8

((WARNING!:Language))

~David's POV~

The guys dragged me(actually flew me)for an hour to a small pond at the heart of the woods.Then they dropped me into it.

"Hey!I'm not a supernatural human you know!"I yelled up at them once I surfaced.

"Sorry.Now swim do the bottom!"Conner yelled.

"What?Why?"

Andrew whispered something to Noah.He nodded and then a weight fell into my hands.

"Oh crap!"I said before going under again.

I struggled to swim upward but the thing weighed like,200 pounds!I sank like a rock.Then the weight hit something and before I knew it I was speeding upward.

I popped out of the water and started yelling at the other guys.

"Yeah,yeah,yeah.You're mad.Now let go of the weight!"Shawn said.

With pleasure. I thought as I let the weight slip out of my hands and smack the ground.I think it actually dented the ground.

Then I was falling.Then rising.Then falling.

"What's going on?"I yelled.

"Look down!"Andrew's voice called out to me

I looked down as I rose again and saw a big black trampoline replace the pond.

"This is the initiation?Jumping on a trampoline?"I called.

"Yes and no."Conner replied."But don't ask questions,just jump!"

I obeyed.It was fun anyway.

A few minuets passed and I realized that I was getting higher.(I could see the camp)

~At the camp~

"What's that dot in the sky?"Maina asked.

"Must be the David."Violet said.

~Back to David~

"Why am I getting higher?"I asked.

"Initiation!"Conner called back.

I started to get higher and higher until I could touch the clouds.Curious as to what was happening i looked down and saw that we had moved so high that I could see houses and cars and buildings.Then breathing started to get harder.

"What are you doing?"I asked when I came back down.

"Sending you into the clouds."Andrew said.

"You mean trying to kill me?"

"No.This is the initiation,stupid."

"But I can't breath!"

"That's what I said."Noah muttered.

They continued making me bounce higher and higher until my air was nearly cut off.

"Just a little longer!"Shawn called.

Then my head hit something.Bits of cloud started to float around my head.I looked up and saw a HUGE cloud.It covered most of the sky.How did I not see this when I was still ON THE GROUND and LIVING?

"That's heaven."Noah's voice said in my head."Me and Shawn aren't supposed to be seen or we'll get taken away so that's why I'm talking to you like this."

Then my body went through the cloud and I caught a glimpse of all the houses and the people.No one was looking at me,thankfully.Then I plummeted towards the ground.

The others had removed the trampoline and were sitting on a cloud nearby.

"Help me!"I called as I sped faster and faster towards my death.

"Figure it out!"Conner yelled harshly.

I started to panic.I was going to splatter the ground,my body hitting the earth so hard I would explode like the unlucky raw food on Hell's Kitchen((XD don't you just love it when Chef Ramsey(sp?)explodes the food?)),chunks of me flying all over the place.But I can't die!Maina is waiting for me!I can't come back to her as guts and flesh.

I imagined wings sprouting out of my back and flapping to keep me alive.My back started to sting.Then I stopped falling.

I looked behind me as best as I could and saw a white wing.

"Alright!"I laughed as I zipped through the air then did a nose dive.I pulled back when the tip of a leaf tickled my nose.

"Great!You're an angel now."Andrew grabbed my shoulder.

"You couldn't have threw me into the place?"I asked.

"No.Jumping helps with the flying."Noah said.

"Oh.Well let's go back to camp!"

"Hold on,fresh meat."Conner stopped me."It'll be at least two weeks before we can go back to camp."

"Two weeks?!Why?"

"So we can teach you how to use your powers.Don't you wanna surprise Maina when we come back?"

"I guess."

"Okay.First the two angels will teach you more about flying.Then we get on to the good powers."

I smiled.I can't wait to surprise Mai.

~Back at camp~

"And that's how it happened.Now it's your turn,Hail."Ash said.

"Okay."Before Hailee could continue any further a bush rustled.

"Who's there?"Maina took a defensive pose.The other girls followed her example.

Then a boy not too far from their age stumbled out of the gloom.His clothes were tattered and the colors had faded.He looked like he had been beaten up not to long ago.

"Ho trovato la gente!"he said.((That's Italian for"I have found people!"))

"Who the fuck are you?"Violet asked harshly.

Um,yeah,I'm gonna start using language in my stories because I feel like language should be used.But only Violet and Conner and hmmhmm will use bad language.NEW CUTE DUDE IN THE STORY!Too bad he only speaks Italian...
