"Hey, Louis!" I screamed across the high school's corridor as I ran to try and catch up with my best friend. Unfortunately, Louis was not having it as he kept his distance and walked out the school's doors.

"I'm serious come on! Listen to me!" I shook his shoulder in hopes of getting the poor guy's attention. "Look I know you're sick but come on, I got a surprise for you!" I had enough of the ignoring and with a roll of my eyes I took Louis' headphones and ran away.

That was a very bad move on my part. You see I'm sort of athletic but not really. Like I'm tough and I look tough but I'm not totally fit. My short legs took twice as much to try and run away from my best friend. His feet carried him farther and sooner rather than later he had caught up to me, blocking my view of the sidewalk.

"Give them back!" He stretches his hand in front of me waiting until I would give him the headphones. Instead I just high-five his hand. "Only if you hear me out." I reason with him, practically begging for him to listen. Boy was he bitchy today!

"Fine!" He crosses his arms over his chest and waits for me with a bored but expectant look.
"Ok, don't freak out unless we are jumping up and down, which probably won't happen... Anyways! So I got us meet and greet backstage passes to Why Don't We..." My eyes popped out of my head as I waited for his response.

"Nah, I don't believe you." He turned around and kept walking. My mouth fell agape. "Dude! Why would I lie about this!?" I walked faster as I tried to catch up to my best friend, it took me a lot of effort. "I wouldn't lie about something like this! I mean it's beneficial to me too!"

"So what if we are going to meet them. When is it?" This time Louis took his time and walked more slowly. I kicked a few rocks from the gravel as we walked.

"Next week. Cause! We just graduated and mom gave me a butt-load of money. So I spent it on what's important!" I said, matter of factly.

"You could've bought a car!"

"I already have one! Plus the rest of the money went to my savings account so it's not like I wasted it all." I rolled my eyes.

I can't wait to meet the boys! I know Louis doesn't seem that excited but as we walked down the street together, a small smile had spread across his face and a spring in his step took over.

"So that's it? That's the surprise?" Louis asked, I couldn't see his face but I knew he was smiling like a mad man.

"Yes! That's the surprise! What'd you think it was gonna be? Me getting a boyfriend?"

"Well yes... I would've wanted you to not be a pain in the ass and get a boyfriend." My jaw dropped the moment I heard that. "Hey! I'm not a pain! You just hate me!" I poked him in the stomach as I walked backwards standing in front of him.

"That I do! But I love you anyways, I rarely say that so enjoy it."

I slipped and almost fell backwards but Louis caught my arms which made me stumble a bit. "And this is why you need me. Because if not then you would already be comatose. Now come on, we're going to the coffee shop."

I skipped around as Louis walked behind me. Together we went to the coffee shop at the mall, drank a few mochas and chatted about the concert.
