We had one hour to get ready and leave before the afternoon traffic jam made us late. You see our tickets were for meet and greet before and after the show. If we want to be there before anybody else then we would have to leave now. Plus we also have to head over to the ticket stand and ask for the necklace they give VIPs.
As Louis changed in the bathroom, I looked at my closet in utter desperation as I thought about what to wear. "I don't know what to wear!" I screamed at the top of my lungs as I jumped on my bed.
"Let me check." Louis came out of the bathroom dressed and ready to go, unlike me who was still wearing pjs. Louis hung different pieces of clothing that fit my style perfectly. Everything geeky and chic. He pulled out my favorite Hufflepuff hoodie, my baggy ripped jeans, they were skinny jeans but they are just a bit bigger than my last pair, and my favorite Star Wars V-neck t-shirt. By V-neck I mean cleavage worthy but it really does look cute.
My thick body goes great with it and honestly I love it. I paired it with my black converse, I wore just the tiniest bit of mascara and a clear lipgloss. We still had time to spare so we got into my car and left to go to the concert.
Louis and I jammed out to some Why Don't We music, we lip-synced so that our voices could be saved for tonight.
My hands started to feel sweaty and clammy once we arrived at the parking lot. Louis' excitement made me happy but it also made me anxious. I couldn't wait to see the guys but I also couldn't wait to leave.
Weird words to say from a fan, I know. My introvert side was gnawing at me to come out but I knew that I needed to be outgoing, social and kind. So as we walked to the ticket booth, I held a spring in my step and walked with confidence.
Unlike the majority of the people here, we were the only ones that were 'old.' I mean the majority of the people here were either preteens or thirteen year olds. What made me laugh the most was the fact that Louis was the only boy that you could been seen from a distance. There were no boys here which made me feel sad in a way.
We were both escorted to a room near backstage where the meet and greet was going to be held. They told us to wait by the door until we would be asked to come in. I guess they were doing it one by one? There weren't that many people who actually had the ticket. After about an hour only ten people walked up to the door and slowly but surely they told us that we would be the only ones here.
We talked amongst ourselves.
"Are you nervous?"
"I'm more anxious than nervous. I just don't know what I'll do once we walk in." My jitters multiplied the moment a guard stepped out to give us instructions.
"Ok ladies... and gentleman... you'll have about an hour because you guys came in early. No screaming. Anyways, enjoy your time." With that said he opened the door and both me and Louis were trampled as the girls ran into the room. We casually stepped in and looked around from the doorway. The boys were talking to the girls and we slowly approached them.
Jonah's eyes locked in with mine and it felt like we were the only ones in the room. All the girls looked over at us and Louis. I guess they didn't expect a guy to be at a concert filled with preteens. I set a blank slate across my face and walked determinedly towards Jonah. Louis shuffled behind me, the silence was deafening.
I didn't leave his gaze as we stared at each other. I gave a short smirk and crossed my arms across my chest. All of the boys were looking at us and the girls were trying to avoid it.
"I want my ring back." I said as I held my hand out to him. He was wearing the ring and even though I should be mad, I wasn't. His eyebrow shot up.
"Well hello to you too. Why should I though?" I rolled my eyes.
"Because it's mine."
"I thought it was your dad's."
"Just give it back." My blood was boiling but I knew that I couldn't do anything about it.
He gave me a sinister grin. "No."
"Fine, it's alright. You can wear it until after the show. But I need it." I guess he didn't expect me to say that because his eyes sort of grew.
