You know what? I'm such a chicken. After I stood up, I took all of my things and sat in a secluded spot of the cafeteria. It's where I felt safe, where I couldn't be judged. After taking my sweet time of hiding I immediately went to call Louis, it took longer than I thought it would because of how shaky my hands were. I really didn't expect them to be here already so I couldn't mentally prepare myself, okay!
Louis: You rarely call me so why did you?
Me: Well hello to you too!
I could feel him rolling his eyes at me.
Louis: Hello Hannah, such a beautiful weather we're having. Now why did you call?
Me: Okay! Did you check the band's story?
I drank my coffee with utter bliss as I waited on what Louis would say.
Louis: Wait a second... No way!
I nodded my head until I was pretty sure that it screwed itself on right.
Me: I know! I'm still shocked. I'm basically hiding right now.
Louis: I didn't know they were here already. I thought they were still on the plane.
Me: Wait, you knew they were coming here today?
Louis: Well of course, have you heard of post notifications being turned on?
Me: Well yeah but I'm still new at this so take it easy on me.
Louis: Fine, now if you'll excuse me I have to go back to my dancing.
Me: Okay! Brake a leg!I hung up, just about ready to leave when I fell from my chair and a loud rip and scrape was heard in the silent and almost empty cafeteria. My hand went towards my pants as I noticed a giant tare came across my inner thigh, all the way back to my butt.
This is the only time when one overly used pair of jeans, friction and thick thighs don't mix. I quickly took off my jacket and wrapped it around my waist. I cleaned my table and walked towards the trash can.
"And these were my favorite pair too." I grumbled as I threw away my now empty cup of coffee. I turned around ready to leave when I bumped into a taller shoulder.
I was too embarrassed to look up so I just mumbled a sorry and made my way over to the exit.
"It's alright." A male voice said. I recognize that voice a little too well. I twisted my father's wedding ring around my finger as I pulled on the chain where it hang from, nervous habit. I looked over my shoulder to see the unexpected. Daniel and Corbyn were on their phones, Jack and Zach were talking and Jonah was looking at me.
What even.
My face paled, my eyes widened and my mouth opened in shock. "Wait, you're..." I pointed at him and then at the boys. My mouth kept opening and closing and I didn't know what to do. Corbyn must've heard me because he quickly looked over and practically screamed. "Finally someone notices us! I was just about to tell everybody where we were, geez." He gave me a sly grin.
I let out a slight chuckle that sounded more like a groan but my mouth hinted a smile as Corbyn and the boys looked over at me and wave. "Um... I... have to go..." I mumbled as I carried my feet out the revolving doors almost hitting myself in the face. I heard something fall and my sneakers screech but I kept walking. I didn't look back, I couldn't. It would only freak me out more.
Well that was something...
It's time to completely disappear in the comforts of my own home.
