"kiM nAMjOON!"

a shriek left taehyung's lips as namjoon swung him over his back in a piggyback position, his coat shielding the younger boy from the downpour.

"you don't want your shoes wet, right? calm down, you'll be home in no time. Just hang on tight." namjoon replied, grimacing before he step foot in the rain.

"yes, but not this way! you're gonna get yourself wet. we can just call a taxi, ya know?"

"i don't have anymore cash on me, ya got cash on you?"

"good point." taehyung pouted, "you should at least wear a coat and..."

"and?"

"a-and, well..."

"just shut up and let me do this for you, it's the least i can do."

"least you can do?"

"... yes."

"what do you mean? i've done barely anything for you." the latter chuckled softly.

"you saved me ..." he sighed, "you remained happy, you befriended me, it gave me a reason, I guess." namjoon's tone of voice changed drastically at the said topic, and taehyung couldn't help but blush.

"i .. saved you? from what?"

instead namjoon shied away, pouting as he continued walking down the drenched street.

"from what?" taehyung asked once more, poking the man's shoulder in a more of a pestering manner. "ooooh, are you blushing? what did i save you from?"

"well, it's not really that important so would you please change the topic?"

"nope, so spill. what was it? aliens? STDs?" tae listed as he continued to pry.

"i said it's not important-"

"namjoon! say it! i swear i won't laugh-"

"suicide... you saved me from killing myself."

"oh ... o-ok- that's, uhm... good."

the whole walk home remained an awkward silence.
