"So you don't love someone?" She asked.

"No" he said.

"I do" she said.
"But I'm trying to forget" she added.

Sougo's p.o.v.

I was outside with Hijikata and princess Nobume to waste my time with them. I was not the person who likes to go out, but it's my job. Secretly.

We have the order to take care of her. She's the princess of the henbane river and some assholes planed an attack to her village.

We just went to the park and Hijikata  was telling us a story about the old days, like we were 50 already. I'm on my early twenties so what's this talking?

"Huh? Isn't this Hijikata and Sougo? And our Nobume! What are you doing here?"

Of course, nobody knows who princess Nobume really is.

"Not your business, glasses" I said.

"Oy! What are you so mean for?" Hijikata said giving me a slap on my back.

"We went for a walk, Shinpachi. And you two?" Hijibaka asked.

Two? I didn't even saw Kagura there. Why is she hiding behind glasses?

"We're going to buy some groceries. Gin asked us if we could do it, he's kinda ill" he said.

They continued to chit chat while Kagura were quiet the whole time. It's not the first time. We would always tease each other and make fun, but since some time she would ignore me and wouldn't even look at me. I don't even know what I did that she acts like that. Maybe, because I called her fat to often or that she looks like a gorilla or-

Kagura's p.o.v.

When I gazed a bit at Sougo he was looking to another direction and confusing was written all over his face, like he was thinking about something really hard.

I wonder what he's thinking about.

Pft, as I wouldn't know. It's Nobume. The pretty girl. The skinny girl. The funny girl. The smart girl. Geez.. she's perfection herself. Everyone would be jealous of her.

She's new around here. And everyone would fall for her beauty. Apparently, even Sougo.

He didn't say it though, but I just know it. How he's looking at her. How nicely he speaks to her and that they are always together. They seem so close.

It's obvious. He likes her a lot.

"Hello Kagura" Nobume said with a huge smile on her face. "We didn't saw each other in a while".
