"I thought I showed you a lesson last time", she said. "Time for the exam", he replied.
Within a second, both held their weapons against each other.

"A knife? Really? You think you'll win against me with that butter knife?" She raised an eyebrow.
"What? Scared? I would win with only saying a word to you. You wouldn't handle it. But I see, you're so scared that you chose a gun this time" he smugly grinned.

She is holding the gun against his head. Loading it. One shot and he's dead. Only one shot.
He on the other hand, is holding his knife against her neck. One move and he would cut her in two pieces. Only one move.

"Do it so" she said. "Why won't you do it?" He asked.
Silence. Just their heartbeats were to be heard.
Emotionless faces. No eye blinking. Just a intense stare.

*shot*

A thrill sound resounded.
"Cocky bastard", she said and left the man on the ground.
She walked away. No regret. No emotion.
She walked faster. She couldn't think anymore. She felt the dizziness overwhelming her.
And she stopped. She stopped and turned around. And she ran. Not away, but to the place she shot him just now.
And she ran faster. She ran to the body on the ground where she thought she shot him. But when she arrived, he was nowhere to be seen. "No.. that can't be. Where is he.." She muttered to herself. "WHERE ARE YOU?" she screamed finally.

She couldn't believe it. She knew what she did. She killed him with one shot. He couldn't be alive.

"Missing me already?" A voice behind her said. She knew who it was without looking. "Its me. The cocky bastard. Surprised?" She could feel the smirk on his face. She slowly turns around and looks in his eyes. The smirk on his face was still there, like she expected.

Her eyes widen. No blood on him. Not even dirt. What was he? "You're not the only alien you know" he said.

'Alien' she hated that word. "I don't care what you are. I just want to see you dead" she exclaimed.
He laughed. "Why did you run back then?" He looked at her deadly in the eyes. "With tears in your eyes"

There was this grin again.

'Tears?' She thought. 'Was I crying?' She didn't knew if she could believe him. She didn't knew what to feel. She wasn't crying was she? Why would she cry? She wanted to see him dead, so why did she ran back?
"Why are you alive?!" She asked loudly. She was frustrated and irritated. "DIE ALREADY" she screamed falling into her knees and crying out loud.

He had her there where he wanted. A confused mess.

"Cry little girl" he said. "Cry".

And he knew, he won this battle.
