__________The dark haired girl woke up with a scream, tears were streaming down her face uncontrollably. She just wanted it to stop. For the voices to disappear. She'd tried twice before to silence them, but the universe seemed to want to see her suffer. Forest eyes glanced over to the clock, resting on the bedside table.

It was almost five in the morning. She let out a long sigh whilst rubbing her eyes, hoping the tears would stop. She took a sleeve and whipped them away, slowly getting out of bed and slipping on her slippers. She opened her bedroom door and made her way down the hallway. Sunrise rays leaked threw the blinds of the living room, most people would have thought it would be a beautiful day, the sun was shining and the Monday would start the week off great, due to the weather.
But Izumi Midoriya isn't most people. She disliked the world, much to how the world hated her. People were so cruel, and most knew fully well that they were doing it. When the freckled girl was younger she would have given anything in the world to become a pro-hero, she and her childhood friend used to dream of becoming partners and fighting off villains together, but fate had other plans.
After the boy had gotten his quirk, he had started to change. The praise of his fellow classmates fed his prideful ego and he started to become distant to the four year old girl.
Once she'd discovered her own quirk, the first to tell was to be her best friend, but when she'd tapped his shoulder, he turned in around in complete anger, him and his two friends, whose names have been long forgotten, started to tease her, more than they'd usually do. They kept calling her;
'Poor, useless Deku. Probably will remain quirkless for the rest of her life and end up all alone.'
She had snapped at them saying she'd gotten her quirk, her friend then shoed away his new friends off. He then started to argue with her, saying that she was lying and kept demanding that she'd show him. Izumi had explained it was a healing quirk so he needed to be hurt, but he still refused to believe her. The young girl ended up bursting into tears and started saying horrible things to the boy, he'd changed so much. 'He wasn't who he used to be.' He was long gone, and he got so angry he used his own quirk on her.
He'd never actually raised his hand against Izumi before, sure his new friends did, but he always came up with excuses. He had punched her and made a bruise and giving her a busted lip. A few moments afterwards they had disappeared, as if the injuries were never there. He stomped off in anger, leaving the poor girl crying on the floor. She had regretted everything she had said.
After the incident the boy went missing. The police tried to find him and after two years they'd dropped the case, they had explained to the boy's mother that there was just no evidence to point them in any direction. He had practically disappeared off the face of the earth, they had told the woman that he'd probably died because they couldn't find anything. Izumi's world had came crashing down around her. She'd always been such a happy child, but after the disappearance of her friend... she had started to notice a lot of things.
