Izumi was shaking. She felt nauseous, she didn't like this at all. The greenette girl was standing in front of one of the most famous hero course schools in all of Japan. U.A. high school where some of the best hero's in all of Japan were made.
She didn't even think she should be here... she didn't deserve to, like everyone said. The emerald eyed girl was stupid, useless and clumsy. Not the ideal type for a hero.
The freckled girl started walking towards the school, but somehow on her way she ended up tripping on a rock.
'Great I'm already going to have to use my quirk. Stupid, clumsy, Deku. You can't do anything right...'
Waiting for the impact to come she shut her eyes. They then shot wide open when she felt something whack her back. She started to panic when she saw that she was floating.
"I'm sorry." A girl with light brown hair apologised. "It's just my quirk, I didn't mean to scare you... I just saw you trip and I thought I should help." She wore a kind smile and it made Izumi want to start crying. This was the first girl to be nice to her in such a long time. She then touched the freckled girl's back again and Izumi was back on her own two feet. "Ok, well I'll see ya later!" The mystery girl then skipped off and Izumi stood dumbfounded on what had just happened.
A pang of happiness hit her chest, but then was overcome with sorrow once more. That girl would probably see how much a fuck up Izumi was, if they'd ever talk again. The mystery girl seemed like a good candidate to get into U.A. and Izumi knew that she had no chance against quirks like that. All she had was a healing one, she could heal herself and others, however it had to be mouth to mouth contact, like an exchange and mixture of ones breathe... that's at least what the doctor told her and her mum when she was younger. Yet this was not like other healing quirks she had seen, they could kiss an infected area, or even touch it with their own hands.
There were others who had to use mouth to mouth contact for their healing quirk, but the only other person she knew who had it was her own grandmother. So maybe it was just a Midoriya thing... She didn't know as she could hardly remember her grandma. She'd only ever met her once, but apparently her mother's family weren't all that happy on how Inko had a child out of wedlock and simply let the man leave... they lost most of their contact with her.
"Midoriya girls don't keep love. It's just our curse, but I hope that's not the case for you."
Inko's words echoed in the freckled girl's mind, her own grandmother went through a divorce and apparently her great grandma's husband died a year after they were married and she was left alone with a growing child in her stomach.
Izumi knew that this also applied to her, the only boy who truly knew her, was gone. Like a whisper fading in the wind, long forgotten, but lingering in her mind all the time.
Izumi then took a deep breathe and walked towards the building once again. It was so nerve wracking that the poor girl thought she was going to pass out. She'd never been one for crowds, or eyes staring at her. It didn't help that she didn't even know what the exam was actually about, but she know she would soon find out.
_________
This talk was making Izumi feel sick. She knew she wasn't getting into U.A. now. The pro-hero known as PresentMic, was giving an explanation on what they'd be doing in the exam. They were fighting robots... 'Great, lets kiss this school goodbye.' Izumi thought, she knew that this wasn't going to go well. She didn't have a combat quirk, her's was a support quirk, did they not take into account that there's probably others too?
They were all told that their zones were on the cards in front of them, Izumi quickly took a look at hers. Sighing once more she tried to concentrate, but she wasn't convinced she could do this at all.
