Polyamorous- The state of having multiple sexually or romantically committed relationships at the same time, with the consent of all partners involved.
This was one of the many words, along with "emo", "gay", and "a bit of a tool", that were used to describe Shuichi Saihara. Shuichi knew that all of the words to describe him were true, but sometimes he wished that they weren't. When he was younger he had been bullied for liking boys, wearing dark clothing, and just generally being a homosexual, emo little shit, but no one ever knew that he was polyamorous. Mostly because he didn't let them know, he never let anyone know, except for two people. Kokichi Ouma and Kaito Momota, his boyfriends.
Shuichi was the only one of them that had decided to go to college. He was studying to become a police detective. He spent long, tedious hours in class only to come home, to his immense stack of homework, eat ramen, and get at most five hours of sleep. Because of this he rarely ever got to see Kokichi and Kaito, and when he did it was usually very briefly, but in a few days. winter break started, which meant that he would have three entire weeks to spend with his boyfriends.
