EMISON: The Morning After 1x02

We sat at our lunch table quietly, nobody wants to break the silence, everyone's pretending to be busy with something. Em stares at her lunch tray but never touched her food. I didn't bother to bring up the incident this morning, since I'll spend the night at her place. I figured we'll just settle this privately. I grabbed my lunch tray and excused myself.

"I'll go ahead I still have to finish my papers" I didn't wait for anyone to answer. I walked out of there as fast as I could. Em didn't even bother to look at me. I felt bad for hurting Paige again but why doesn't Em talk to me, she is acting like I shouldnt have outed our relationship to Paige.  *Is she still inlove with Paige?* * I dont know* *I dont wanna know* *This is what Im always afraid of, to get hurt, laying my heart out on the table* *This is not you Ali* * Nothing ever scares you* *Nothing ever scares me, but my feelings for Em does* *I cant hurt her,not again* *Now Im doubting myself if I have the courage to fight for this relationship* *Em deserves to be happy* *But not with me*. Im so lost in my thoughts that I didnt notice I bumped into someone.

"Sorry" I apologized.

"Hey Ali," I lifted my head and see Noel Kahn.

"how have you been? Its nice to see that you're back" Noel added

"Thanks, I have to go but it's nice to see you." I continued to walk away lost in my thoughts.

The whole afternoon went by so slow, I just wanna get home and settle this.

I saw Em's car parked in the front building, but she is nowhere to be seen. I looked around and saw her talking to Paige near the science building,  Em started to cry and reached for Paige's hand, while Paige just bowed her head down crying. Em reached for her and hugged her tight.

"Ali" I turned and see Spence and Aria approaching. I couldn't hold back my tears I know they're not doing anything wrong, maybe Em is just explaining everything to Paige, asking for forgiveness, but seeing them together just hurts me. *my ego maybe* *knowing that Em could still be inlove with Paige* *this is too much for me to handle*

I started to walk away, running actually, I stormed past Spence and Aria.

*I have to get away*

I saw Noel Kahn pulling out of the parking lot. He stopped when he saw me running towards him.

"Can you give me a ride home? Please" I break down

"Sure, hop in" there is a look of concern in Noel's eyes.

Noel stepped on the gas. I didnt dare to look back. I buried my face in my hand, I couldn't hold it back anymore.
