EMISON: The Morning After 1x02

It's Thursday.... which means Ali will be staying at my place for 2 nights and we'll have the weekend to ourselves since the other girls will be spending time with their boyfriends as well. Im so excited to come to school, I arrived 10 mins early.

I was waiting in front of the school when I received a text from Ali saying that they're on their way. I fixed my hair, retouched my make up and sprayed on Ali's favorite perfume.

"Hi Em" I heard a familiar voice. Of course I know who it was, I turn around.

"Paige,.....Hi-i" i greeted her.

"How are you? I heard you've been coaching Sydney after school? How is she?" she asked with excitement on her tone.

"She's doing good, her strokes have improved since she started." I answered

"That's great. So, um, are you free this weekend? The team is kinda planning a welcome party for the new members?" Paige looked nervous and excited as she waits for my answer.

"Um, I dont think I can make it. The girls and I are planning a camping trip so..." I lied and  looked around to avoid eye contact. I never thought it would be this awkward. *Should I tell her about Ali and me? She deserves to know.*

Hanna parked her car just outside the front building where Em is waiting for us. I catch a glimpse of her. There she is standing, talking to someone, then I realized who it was. Paige. Em looked uncomfortable, she does this thing with her boots whenever she is in an uneasy situation.

"Han, I'll go ahead while you park your car. We'll wait for you there" I unbuckled my seatbelt.

"Whoa, easy tiger, what's with the rush?" Han teased.

"Em is talking to Paige, she looks uncomfortable, see" I pointed at Em's direction.

"Oh okay, I'll be there in a sec." Hanna gathered her things from the backseat. I made my way out of the car.

"EM!!" I waved my hand. I could see her face light up. I walked as fast as I can in my 4 inch heels, running almost.

"Hey, sorry we're late" I pecked her cheek.

"Hey Paige" I placed my hand in Emily's waist. I could feel her discomfort so I removed it immediately. I could see jealousy and confusion in Paige's eyes, like she wanted to ask something. A few seconds of uncomfortable silence..Here goes...

"Paige, Em and I wanted to tell you something, this may be the most awkward of all situation and you may not believe me but I love Em, I've loved her since the day I met her, you can call me coward for turning on you before and again I'm really really sorry. I understand that you have feelings for Em and I won't stop you from being friends, we just want you to know that we are together now." I held Em's hand.  She looked at Paige with an apologetic look. I understand that Em doesn't want to hurt Paige's feelings but I can't go around the campus pretending she's not mine cause she is MINE and that's how it's going to be. *my inner bitch is scowling I dont know why I suddenly got jealous.* Hanna, Spencer and Aria walked towards us, murmuring things I cant wrap my head around. All I can see is Paige's eyes starting to water and she keeps shaking her head. Suddenly.....

"Seriously, Em?? you're with Ali now? Are you just trying to get rid of me?  You can tell that straight to my face but saying youre with Ali?? She's you're first love isn't she? She's a bitch who doesnt know anything but use people, I thought you know that. She is using you Em she doesn't love you. You're a fool for believing anything she says.  I loved you with everything I am Em you know that. I did one mistake ONE and you forgotten everything about us. Alison has put all of your lives in danger, lied to you a million times, made your lives a living hell, came back and you all act as if nothing happened? I hope you made the right decision Em. I hope your friends did the right thing for welcoming Ali with open arms. Don't tell me I didnt warn you." Paige walked out with her hand in her face, sobbing.  We stood there without anything to say. I grabbed Em's hand and looked at her, tears falling from her cheeks. I dont know what hurts the most Paige's rant or the fact that Em won't even look at me and tell me anything.

This is going to be a long day.
