My sweet Em is sleeping soundly in my arms. She must be very exhausted. I gave her a quick kiss on the forehead before i got out of bed, careful not to wake my love, to prepare breakfast because I am starving.

I have this natural glow in my face, sparkle in my eyes, and a smile that hasn't left my lips since last night. This is the "Emily Effect" as I call it. I headed straight to the kitchen and prepared some French toast,bacon and egg. I hope this turns out perfect I really wanna surprise Em.

Emily called for me in a panicky voice. I can hear her almost running down the stairs.

"I'm in the kitchen Em" I answered.

Few seconds later she is standing in front me. I gave her the warmest smile.

"Good Morning Love, I prepared us  some breakfast. I didn't wake you u.........

The next thing I knew I was in Em's embrace, I could feel her heartbeat as i wrapped my hands around her and pulled her closer.

"Em, what's wrong" I asked as I tried to calm her down. And hugged her tighter.

"I thought you were gone again, I woke up and reached for you and you weren't there, I thought I lost you again." Her voice shaking.

I held her face in my hands as I wipe the tears " Oh Em, im so sorry, I  shouldnt have left you. I promise not to do that again. I promise not to leave your side, how  about forever??

I could see her face light up.

"I love you Em" and gave her a kiss on the lips.

"I love you too Ali"

"So, what are you cooking?" She hugged me from the back and started kissing my shoulder.

Oh my God. I gasped for air.

"I'm trying to cook a decent food for you but I  can only do toast,eggs and bacon, you hungry? ." I bit my lip while I cocked my head sideways to give her a better view of my neck.

"Hungry but not for food" she smiled.

"Last night was amazing, Ali! The best night of my life."  She kissed my neck.

" It was magical Em, surely not the last"
