Jack
When I ran up to them their eyes land on me. Syd put her hand over her mouth. I ran up to her first and she fell into my arms. We both fell to our knees hugging each other as tight as possible and sobbing.
"J-ack it's-its you-its really you." She choked out. I felt Ava and Islas arms wrap around us.
"It's me. I'm here." I whispered. Letting another sob escape my mouth.
"I thought I." She sniffed, "I thought I lost you." She said while sobbing.
"You'll never loose me. Never again." We let go of the hug, and I wipe her tears away.
"Jacky." Isla said. I bend down to her height and she immediately hugged me.
"Hi baby."
"Hey loser." I let go of Isla and turned to Ava who was crying and had a little smile on her face.
"Hey munchkin." She jumped in my arms making me fall back on the floor. I chuckled. She got off and helped me back up.
"Jack why are you so skinny?" Syd asked. I didn't reply.
"Did you even eat?"
"Let's get you a whole bunch of food and stuff your face with it." I looked over at Isla then burst out laughing.
"Hey who are they?" I heard a familiar voice. I turned around to be face to face with Jonah.
Jonah
"They're my sisters. This is Sydnie, Ava, and Isla." He introduced them.
"Who's this?" Ava asked.
"I'm Jonah. I found Jack in a cold alley freezing to death and starving." I said. Their eyes widened. Jack put his head down.
"Oh Jack," Sydnie started, "I'm so sorry you had to go through all of this. I should've protected you. Even if it would cost me to get killed." He rose his head and shook it.
"No Syd, I could never let you go through the stuff I've been through. I know I might be younger than you, but I didn't want you to get hurt. I dint want any of you to get hurt." A tear slid down his face and I wiped it away with my thumb.
"He hasn't been...hurting you guys. Has he?" Jack asked, his voice cracking.
"A little bit." Isla mumbled. Jack fumed in anger. He stormed out of the store and started walking in a different direction.
"Jack! No stop! He's gonna hurt you again and we can't let that happen!" Ava yelled. He didn't listen.
"HE F****** HURT YOU GUYS! NOW IM GONNA HURT HIM!" He screamed and started to run into a neighborhood. We all started chasing after him. He then ran up to this house.
"We have to. Stop him." Syd said. We pushed ourselves faster to run. Finally we caught up to him. But it was too late. He slammed the door open.
Jack
I slammed the door open. My blood boiling. How dare he hit the girls.
"YOU MOTHER F***** SHOW YOUR FACE!" I yelled. I heard footsteps and in came stumbling my father. Drunk as always.
"What are you doing here you gay boy?" He questioned, "I thought I kicked your a** out!"
"Well here I am b****. You hit the girls you piece of sh**." I said in a normal voice.
"I see you're finally man enough to stand up for yourself." He said taking a swig of his beer then throwing it on the ground. Holding out his arms he said.
"Hit me son. Go ahead."
"Don't call me son. I sure as he** dont call you a father. You've abused me every single f****** day. I have scars that will never go away. Scars from you. All I wanted for was my father to love me. But I guess you just can't do the simplest thing. You made mom leave." He looked at me, anger filling in his eyes.
"You're a f*** up. Worthless. Weak. No good. This is why your mother left. She didn't leave because of me. She left your worthless self." He said. I clenched my fists.
"YOU SON OF A F****** B****!" I yelled and tackled him to the ground. I threw punch after punch to his face. He pushed me off of him and got on top of me.
"Get the f*** off of me!" I said struggling out of his grip. I heard glass breaking. The next thing I knew was that he fell to the floor. Unconscious. I look to see Jonah standing over us holding part of a broken bottle in his hand.
"We need to call the police."

Flashing red and blue lights, and nosy neighbors gathered around our house. My so called father was being taken out of our house in handcuffs.
One of the officers I recognized.
"Wait. Jack?" The officer said. I nodded my head.
"Yeah." I said barely above a whisper. His eyes showed sadness with a mix of anger.
"You should've came to us. If we knew about him hurting you guys. We would've done something about it." He said. I gulped.
"I couldn't. I didn't want to go back when he became abusive. I couldn't face the police station." I said. Now his eyes showed more anger than sadness.
"Where were you all this time?" Silence. I was hoping he wasn't gonna ask that.
"I was- I-I was. Homeless." I choked out. He pulled me into a warm hug. Tears threatened to fall out of my eyes, but I kept strong. We let go of the hug and the cop cars pulled out and the neighbors went back in their houses. Jonah came over to me along with the girls. He put his arm around my shoulders.
"I want you to meet the boys."
