"Senor, you asked me to come see you?," a man asked he seemed to be in between middle aged and young but he was a human and a explorer after all.

"Si, you are Cabeza de Vaca, si?," Antonio asked looking up from his papers. "I have a job for you... one that will spread, our empire to a new land which I have heard from a priest consists of kingdoms of gold. A PLACE,  where we can spread our Catholic religion in the name of God... and of course seek glory along with it," said with a shake of his raised fist.

Cabeza nodded his head to Antonio, as he liked the sound of that. "Si, senor. I am in complete agreement with you on that," the explorer said stroking his dark haired goatee.

"May I ask where this place i-"

"The New World"

Cabeza's eyes widened at what the country had said. "You can't be serious."

"Oh but I am, Cabeza. I have a feeling, about these places you'll be exploring," Antonio told him, his green eyes held their serious gaze with a grin like a Cheshire cat almost upon his face.

"When do I leave?"

"Hopefully soon... and also if there are people who do not configure to our religion as an offering of peace...."

"I know senor, I will now leave you senor," Cabeza said with a bow.

"Si. Just know I will be attending with you on these journeys a few times but most them you will report to me by letters, understood?," Antonio asked his fellow explorer.

"Si, senor," Cabeza said with another bow before leaving, and heading back home....for the journey ahead.

As some weeks had passed on, Cabeza de Vaca had finally set sailed to explore this new land and hopes to claim it for his country of Spain, give meaning behind: God, Gold, and Glory.

When Cabeza arrived and set up a small mission somewhere in the interior of Texas and Mexico as he started his journey by going around, in hopes to find this kingdom of gold!

But... along the way he had hard encounters of plains that stretched for miles and left with no direction, he had slaughtered thousands of Native Americans since they refused to become Catholics but they couldn't understand so that's why they never understood and so battles broke out, so many men were lost to Native American battles as well as starvation and diseases. They even raped native American woman and made the Native Americans their slaves. Sad though honestly.

But... sadly he did not find the kingdom of gold which was proven to be a fable after all.

He made sure to write down his journal entries.

He had also explored Mexico.

This went on for years till of course Cabeza settled down/died and soon settlements and such were slowly starting to be made.

Antonio had then taken Texas and Mexico under his wing, and will make sure they grew up and were loyal to him as his own children/colonies should be their father/mother country.
