After the tragic accident you were never really the same. Your friend's could never get you out your room.

You ignored calls, bills started piling up. Your college sent you notices about returning to school.

Your parents began to worry, you became unhealthy and depressed. You began talking to yourself.

     " [Name]."
     You heard him many times.
Each time it was more realistic.

You would look up hair falling in your face. "Hiccup..?" You would mumble.

He smiled and sat next to you patting your head. " Hey .. " he said lowly.
You scooted away from him burying your face in your knees. " Go away." You said your voice muffled.

" Aw don't say that princess.." he replied. You held back a sob, "Just go away I can't take it anymore." Your voice cracked. Hiccup grabbed a strand of your hair, like he always did.

He twirled it around his finger, his hand brushing the side of your face. "[Name], I love you." Hiccup whispered .

A sob escaped your chapped lips as you tackled him in a hug. "Hiccup why! Why did you leave me." You cried tears spilling from your eyes.

Hiccup smiled sadly, "I didn't babe, I'm here for you." He replied. You shook your head, " Your not real.." You said sadly and smiled up at him. "But it's okay.. I love you too." You touched his face and kissed his lips.

Even though you knew that Hiccup, was only a figment of your broken mind. You couldn't bring yourself to let him go.
To push him away, and you'd open your eyes and look around the small room of your apartment.

And you'd be alone. You'd be tangled in your lonely white bed sheets wearing one if his shirts. Clutching a picture of him in your hand. And you'd cry, because you knew tomorrow he would be back. Like nothing happened to him.

So you went to his grave, and set a single daisy on the tombstone, you talked to him and you'd often hear his laughter. You smiled through your tears, "I love you ."

" I love you too [Name]."
