Hiccup x Jealous!Reader

The sun was shining at it's brightest on the island, it made your skin hurt. You groaned loudly, leaning against [Dragons Name] who gave you a look.

"What? It's hot." you looked at your dragon who seemingly rolled their eyes before laying back down. You giggled and closed your eyes putting your arms behind your head.

"Hey [Name]!" Snotlout called jogging towards you. You peacefully ignored that wretch and sighed intently, just wanting to enjoy some peace and quiet for once.

"A bunch of us are going for a swim, you wanna jooiiin?" he asked and you could hear smugness in his voice.

"You know I hate swimming with you." you grumbled opening one eye. "I said I was sorry. I won't throw you in this time I swear." he chuckled holding his hands up in defense.

"Well if you decide you want to, I'll end you." you smirked and slowly rose up cracking your joints.

"Come on [Dragons Name], lets not get a sunburn."

The swimming hole was filled with people, and some of them had brought there dragons as well. At least you weren't the only one to.

Your dragon scrambled off and jumped into the water with a big splash making you giggle to yourself.

You had a tunic over your bathing suit, (or whatever they wore back then) and we're about to take it off when you saw her.

You grimaced slowly releasing your shirt.

Astrid strode into the swimming hole, looking exceptionally pleasing. At least to the teenage male crowd.

You watched her in pure annoyance at her being oblivious as she sat down on the ground and began sharpening her axe.

You sighed and turned to leave but bumped into someone rather harshly sending you flying into the dirt.

"What the heck? Watch where your go-"

"Sorry [Name], let me help you up." a voice said sheepishly. You looked up to an outstretched hand, and more to see who it belonged to.

"O-Oh. Hiccup." you blushed furiously.

Ba-Dum.

"I didn't see you I got kind of distracted." he said nervously, pursing his lips. You took his hand and got up curiosity seeping into your brain, "Oh? By what?" you asked following his gaze across the swimming hole.

There was Astrid.

Stripping into her swimming clothes.

You rolled your eyes and turned to leave again, "Oh." was all you said before brushing past him.

A pang of jealousy hit you, making you grit your teeth. It's always Astrid.

"Ha! Where do you think your going missy!" you heard a yell.

Your eyes widened- "SNOTLOUT NO!" you screeching making eyes turn on you.

"OH YES! " He ran towards you scooping you up in his meaty arms, you thrashed wildly hissing at him. "I swear I'll - I'll!" you cursed at him and he smirked.

"Shh, I'm doing you a favor." he whispered before throwing you into the swimming hole.

You hit the water with a big splash, half choking on the liquid before swimming to the surface. Your hair was wet around your face sticking to your cheeks, a deathly glare on your features.

Snotlout snickered at you from the bank, and you slowly walked towards him. You quickly realized your tunic was missing as you emerged from the water looking around frantically.

"Damn now I'm gonna get a sunburn." you growled at him, who didn't notice because he was too busy looking at your figure.

And so was Hiccup.

You blushed furiously covering your body, "What are you two meat heads staring at!?"

You quickly ran into the forest embarrassed, "I can't believe he did that." you cried sitting on a rock.

You didn't even notice [Dragons Name] beside you licking your foot. "Gross." you giggled making them snort.

"Uh- [Name]?" you heard Hiccup call, you quickly hid behind your dragon. "Er- What?" you called face palming at your choice of words.

"I just wanted to bring you this- maybe you'll feel more comfortable and come back.." he trailed off, you peered over your dragon to see him holding a shirt.

His shirt.

Ba-Dum

"O-oh. Thank you." you said slowly making your way towards him. You slowly slid the shirt over your head feeling his eyes burn into your skin.

You gave him a big smile, "Stop staring at me you're making me nervous." you said sheepishly rubbing your neck.

His eyes widened and he looked away with rosy cheeks, "S-Sorry you're just really pretty- I MEAN SORRY!" he jumped rubbing his eyes.

You laughed giving him a toothy grin,"Well since I'm so pretty maybe you'll help me get Snotlout back?" you held a hand out to him, and he hesitantly took it.

"Yeah, lets do it."
