War For Love

Blitz POV

Everybody In my group was present as we climbed into a helicopter. Our base commander stayed at the base with Dokkaebi to relay information about the building and target locations. As we took off from the base Dokkaebi had just hacked the cctv on the building and could see what was going on. Apparently they were holding Jäger in a shipping container at the back of the warehouse. 

"Hey, are you ok?" Bandit asked next to me. I just nodded but he continued. "Look, I know what's going on between you and Jäger" he said I looked at him and he had a sympathic look. I angrily looked at IQ and she mouth "I'm sorry"

"He loves you and I'm sure we'll get him back." He put his arm around my shoulder "we are the best team in the world to save him" he continued

"Thanks guys" I tried putting on a strong front but on the inside I was fucking scared! When I passed out I had a dream of me holding Jäger in my arms. His body was lifeless and cold and I shuddered.

"Get ready guys, I'm going to drop you off 3 blocks away to prevent them getting alerted" the pilot said.

"Guys I have more bad news they have moved Jäger from the container to the recording room" our commander announced and again I started panicking.

The helicopter touched down in a car park where we jumped out. It took off and left us. We synchronised our comms with the base and started to move towards the building.

"IQ don't destroy the cameras. As you move through the different rooms I will freeze the feed and they won't know you're there" Dokkaebi said down the mic

"Copy that" IQ replied

We got to the side entrance of the warehouse and carefully entered making as little noise as possible. We crept all the way to the recording room where we could hear them talking through the wall.

"You know they'll come for him" voice one said

"That's if they're not hear already" voice two laughed

"Yeah I say just kill him and be done with him. Then we can leave and regroup with the others" voice one urged

"Fine give me the knife" voice 3 said

We moved quick and planted the breach charge on the door. With a nod IQ blew the charge and I ran in.

IQ and Bandit took a shot at voice one and two but I was to slow and voice 3 plunged the knife into Jäger's stomach. I charged at him and slammed him against the floor with my shield and them smashing it over his head until the top of his head was literally falling off.

I then threw the shield across the room and cut Jäger loose of the chair and laid him in my lap.

"DON'T YOU FUCKING LEAVE ME!" I screamed at him as his eyes fluttered closed "JÄGER DONT LEAVE ME I FUCKING LOVE YOU!" I cried into his chest.

A rustle at the door made IQ and Bandit aim in that direction. I turned to look and saw members of the GIGN. Twitch, Rook came in followed by Doc and then Montagne blocked the door with his shield. Doc spotted Jäger and ran over grabbing his medical kit. He proceeded to work on Jäger as I held his hand.

"Why are you guys here? This is a German operation" IQ said to Twitch.

"Jäger has saved our skins more than we could count and after our base commander found out that he was in danger we climbed into our osprey and headed over here" Rook replied

"That's very kind of you but even we may have been too late" Bandit said turning to me Jäger and Doc.

"Don't belittle my work" Doc replied "Ok, he's stable but I need him in an operating theatre in the next half an hour or he might be gone for good" Doc added

"There is a hospital 20 minutes by helicopter. Transport is on the way and the hospital is on stand by" Dokkaebi said down the mic

I stood up and held Jäger in my arms. We ran through the building but as we got to the door we could hear tires squealing coming from the other side of the building. We sprinted to our helicopter.

I jumped on with Jäger and doc the rest of them stayed to finish off the reinforcements. I've never known a helicopter ride to go so slow, but we did eventually arrive at the hospital with about 5 minutes to spare. He was immediately rushed into the operating theatre and I was left in the entrance with blood all over me and tears on my face.
