3 months later

Ross's PoV

It's been 3 months since I admitted that I like Laura I haven't told her though because I don't know how to tell her though like how are you gonna tell your best friend who you've known for years that you like them a lot and want to be more than friends.

Laura: hey Ross

Ross: hey Laura

Laura: what's wrong?

Ross: what do you mean?

Laura: you have a worried expression written on your face

Ross; well...

Laura: is it bad?

Ross: no

Laura: then whatever it is I will be by your side like you've been by my side when I needed you the most.

Ross: *small smile* Laura I....

???: Laura?

I turned to face the voice and saw it was a guy with brown hair, brown eyes and he looked around my height.

Ross: umm who's this?

Laura: my 2nd cousin Dallas

Ross: I'm Ross

Dallas: I know Laura talks about how amazing you are and how you always look after her

Ross: *looks at Laura*

Laura: *smiles*

Dallas: well I better go and meet up with Vanessa

Laura: *nods*

Then the guy walked away and Laura looked at me.

Laura: why did you want to tell me?

Ross: well I umm like you a lot like more than a friend and I want to know if you wanna go on a date tonight?

Laura: oh wow umm

Ross: I mean it's okay if you don't want to then it's fine and I'll understand.

Laura: Ross shh of course I'd love to go on a date with you

Ross: really?

Laura: yeah

Ross: I'll pick you up at 6

Laura: great

Laura walked away and I smiled really wide I went home and my sister saw me.

Rydel: what's got you so smiley?

Ross: Laura said yes

Rydel: to what?

Ross: going on a date with me

Rydel: that's great

Ross: I'm gonna plan everything

Rydel: okay I'm gonna go to Laura's

Ross: okay make sure she's ready before 6

Rydel: will do

Then Rydel walked out of the house and I went straight to my bedroom.

I've got Raini, my sister Vanessa, my cousin Gemma and Rydel in my room they are helping me get ready for my date with Ross.

Vanessa: I can't believe it

Raini: me either

Gemma: Ross will not stop staring at you tonight Laura once we are done with you
