Anyways, I've gotten a very good news for you! Yippee, it's a good news. Guess what? You remembered me talking and lamenting about the heroine deprived from being called to the Nigerian bar just because she was putting on a hijab! ?
I'm sorry for taking this late before sharing this with you but the heroine has been called to bar! Yes, at last, Alhamdulillah, she was called to bar in a grand Style! In addition, a lot of celebrations accompanied her being called to bar.
It's a good news, isn't it? 😂
So, my dear sisters, what to learn from this? Let us all cultivate the habit of standing firm against anything that wants to deprive us from carrying out the commands of Allah.
No compromise! What did I say? NO COMPROMISE. The moment you are convinced that something is right and it's commanded by the Law Maker, do not fear the creature while disobeying the Creator Himself. Stand firm against injustice and expect the reward only from Allah.
As Allah Has said in suratul fussilat :
Fussilat : 30
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقٰمُوا تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَلٰٓئِكَةُ أَلَّا تَخَافُوا وَلَا تَحْزَنُوا وَأَبْشِرُوا بِالْجَنَّةِ الَّتِى كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ
Indeed, those who have said, "Our Lord is Allah " and then remained on a right course - the angels will descend upon them, [saying], "Do not fear and do not grieve but receive good tidings of Paradise, which you were promised.
If one obeys mankind in disobedience to Allah, one will lose in this world and the next but if one obeys Allah even when mankind is not pleased, Allah will compensate one with this world and the next.
In short, my brothers and sisters, my admonition to you tonight is to BE FIRM IN THE DEEN. Please only Allah even if mankind is displeased.
