Pa, where did we go wrong?

I was six
When I thought everything could be fixed
I was nine
When I thought everything's just fine
I was twelve
When I realized I lived for the lies they gave

I saw my mom smiling while turning off the light
I saw my mom crying at the middle of the night
"Mom's good at faking
She does not want me to see her crying"

I saw my dad
Holding another's hand
It made me sad
But I can't do anything to make him stop

Maybe we weren't enough
Maybe we cannot make him laugh
That's why he searched for another half
Because we weren't enough

No, we did not do anything wrong
It's him who created another song
Pa, we did not do anything wrong
It's you who forgot where you truly belong.
