Somehow wrapped tightly in a blanket, I'm still shivering and shaking, even though I'm not cold anymore.

It's not the cold, it's the cold hands of him, still remaining on my skin. Just the thought of that receives another shiver. Kenya comes back from the kitchen, hands me a cup of hot cocoa, and sits back in her spot squished between me and Luna.

When Kenya picked me up, she didn't have to say anything. When she saw my ridden up shirt and my quivering lip, she knew. She had immediately called the "gang" and told them it was an emergency and to come over to our house.

Now, everyone was piled in our living room, waiting for me to spill what happened. I've been searching for the words to say, but everything that comes in my head makes me have to choke on a sob. And, in other ways, I'm ashamed.

Of course, every girl thinks it will never happen to them, and if it does, they'll be a total savage, and turn the dude down. I had those same thoughts when the conversation was brought up. I would think, well, if they try anything, I'll knock 'em out.

But all those threats, are just empty when it comes down to that one moment. That moment when he inches towards you, until he has you trapped and you can't escape. When his cold, hard hands find there way on your body, and you can barely find the words in your mouth to say no, scared of what will happen.

But no Mercetie, you are strong. You stopped anything from progressing and you were successful. But I'm not strong. I let my guard down for the littlest time, and he crept in like a snake, ready to kill its prey with an easy snap of it's jaw. Regardless, it's over now and I know the only way to get closure is to let it out.

"I-I was at Josh's house." I start, my voice shaking. Everyone has there full attention on me. They sit in anticipation.

Kenya reaches over toward me, and squeezes my hand. "It's okay, just let it out. We're here for you." She says gently.

"W-Well, we were- we were-"

"Gosh dang it Mercetie! Just spit it out! Why are you being so emotional over this? What, so you're having regrets now that you slept with Josh?" Luna says agitated.

Where in the world is this coming from? That's the exact opposite of what happened. She's so oblivious and stupid sometimes.

"Honestly Mercetie, grow up, so this was your first time? Own it, he's a total hunk." Luna finishes leaning back into the couch, looking at her nails.

I can feel my face heat up, and I'm about to spew. Everyone else except for Luna is looking at me a little concerned. I don't know if it's because of what Luna just said, or because I look like I'm about to snap.

"How DARE you go and assume that's what happened! You have no clue or idea of what ACTUALLY happened! And to think, I'm about to open up to some narcissistic, brat! You know what, forget I even wanted to. I'm going to my room, and NO ONE follow me." I scream almost, then run up the stairs to my room, where I slam the door loudly.

I collapse on my bed and let a few tears trickle down my face. I can hear the rest of the gang downstairs yelling. Probably at Luna. They argue for a little more, then get quiet. Eventually I hear footsteps coming up the stairs.

"I already told you guys, leave me alone." I say, my voice muffled by the pillow I'm facing down on.

The person doesn't answer, just starts making rattling noises with the door handle. Finally the door makes a clicking sound and opens. I look at the door, and Aamora stands there.

"I knew you would lock the door. So I pick-locked it." She says as she edges more into my room. I almost snort. Like I don't notice.

"Yeah, well good for you, now get out!" I yell at her, throwing a pillow at Aamora haphazardly.

She dodges it easily and sits on the end of my bed.

"Don't be so quick to kick me out. I came in here, because I'm concerned about you." She says, with sincerity in her eyes.

"Yeah, did Luna send you here to get the inside scoop?" I say sharply. Aamora rolls her eyes.

"Please, if Luna really wanted the 'inside scoop', she would've came up here herself." Aamora states. She touches my leg, and I flinch from the touch moving my leg from her grasp.

"Dont be so harsh. We're trying to help you." Aamora scowls."I know Luna was being a total douche bag back there, and believe me, she's getting more than her fair share of backlash, but the rest of us actually really care. And until you open up to us, we can't help you."

I sigh. She's right. I can't just bottle up my feelings like this.

So I let it out. I told her the whole story. From how me and Josh were cuddling and having a make-out session, to his sexual attempts. The whole time, Aamora sat quietly, nodding her head at all the right places. For once, Aamora actually was listening.

"So, Josh tried to get your goods?" She asks afterwards.

"And I declined." I answered back.

"But he still pursued you until you had to take self defense."

I nod at her. She growls and gets up, to start pacing.

"I swear, when I see him, Imma slam his no good, pervert, butt. He really gonna catch some hands." She says. I sigh.

"You don't have to worry about that, I already got 'em good." I say, a tiny smile starting to creep on my face.

Aamora looks at me with a mischievous glint in her eyes.

"Where?"

"Oh you know, right in the spot." I say innocently.

Aamora's head falls back in laughter, and she hops on the bed next to me and grabs me into a hug.

"That's my girl."
